Question I found two tickets on Rt. 1 last night

Walking up Rt. 1 (north bound) towards the stadium last night, I found two SRO tickets on the ground (right before the Patriot Place entrance).

To the person or persons who lost them (if you are reading this), I gave them to a member of the security staff at the U-Bid gate. Hopefully you got them.

I did think about selling them for a split second, but I had a really good seat and didnt want to chance getting busted for trying to scalp. Not sure what the rules are for that sort of thing, so I didnt even bother.

For an anecdote to let you know you did the right thing - on my way to a playoff game at the old Fox I found two tickets on Rte. 1 south about a 1/4 of a mile from the stadium. They were better seats than my own and my friend and I joked I should keep them and turn in my tickets. I gave them to the nearest state trooper and he promised to look out for the owner. As I approached the stadium there was a small group of people surrounding a girl of about 10 and her Dad. She was crying and they were all looking around. Seems Dad had allowed her to carry the tickets to the big game and she had lost them. I could still see the trooper I had given them to in the distance. You never saw such a relieved Dad (more than the girl, who was still upset) in your life! I figured this was good karma for us to win the game, which we did!!

Great story, PatsDeb. I've got one too: I was at the Patriots-Panthers Super Bowl in Houston, walking down to my seat. A Panthers fan a few feet ahead of me dropped his money clip on the steps and didn't know it. It was a pretty hefty roll of bills, several hundred dollars at least. I picked it up and chased after the guy to give it to him; all he said was "thanks," which was OK I guess, but I remember it feeling odd that he wasn't more thankful. Later on in the men's room I found $12 on the floor. THAT, I kept.

LOL, $12 is an odd amount to find on the floor. That is funny.

Jeez, Tune, you are good luck! (although I wonder if your keeping the $12 allowed that Superbowl to be so close). I hope you are going to AZ if the Pats make it!

I found a wallet in the Ka Theatre at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. I could see it had a room key for the Monte Carlo and a few hundred bucks in it. I brought it all the way over to the Monte Carlo and they gave it to security (who probably took the cash out and returned it to it's rightful owner). Honest people exist even in Sin City!
