Default This game a metaphor for the D this season

Watching this game and being on the board so much got me thinking this game is like a smaller version of this season for the D.

Starts of rough and scary then just gets better and better and at the end is nearly unstoppable

I hope I am rigt nad the D looks even better at the end of the year

We just need Butler to step up or Bodden to recover and we have really nice D.

Second half performance was brilliant... as were the second half adjustments. It's going to be a rocky road with this young group but the signs are encouraging.

Cunningham played really well. McCourty is learning. He got called for PI in the first half for not turning his head, but made the adjustment later on to break up a huge 3rd down pass. Spikes and Mayo were critical in shutting down Rice. Deaderick also didn't look out of place in his first start of the season. These kids are growing so quickly.

I think the 3rd down stop with about 9 minutes left was the turning point and possibly the win for the game.

I'll say it again if there is one thing we should be praising again and again after todays game it is the way the defense responded in the clutch. They proved that they could hold up a good team in the 4th quarter and OT and give the offense many chances to get back the lead.

They'll find out Randy can't run consistently anymore. He'll drive [Tom] Brady and [Bill] Belichick crazy. This is just my personal opinion from what I saw: He's losing his legs. He's becoming an old man fast.

Ravens had the ball with a chance to win 4 times!! Didn't even get a FG off. Nuff said.
