I've got horrible news to report. Patrick Crayton has vowed to watch his mouth while chatting with the media. I tried telling him not to let the haters get to him, but it didn't help. Crayton's mom called him to deliver the following message: "Just tone it down a little bit." Receivers coach Ray Sherman advised Crayton not to give the sensationalizing media so much material. "I'm just going to be quiet," Crayton said. "Everything I say gets twisted and blown out of proportion. You have to be politically correct, but that's not my style." For the record, Crayton's teammates have no beef with him talking a little trash. "Patrick is going to be Patrick," Tony Romo said. "He's a confident kid, and that allows him to play well."

How has anything he's said been twisted and blown out of proportion? I saw him on NFL Live (or Primetime w/e the hell it was) and he sounded very much like a big-mouthed douche.

I don't like Dungy and that's because he [was] the head coach of the Colts. Period. End of question. The degree to which I like a player or coach is predicated solely on the color of the laundry they wear on Sunday. When fans admit this and stop bashing players and coaches for any other reason, the world of sports will be infinitely improved.

Well, it was twisted in that he wanted to come out looking good, but unfortunately, people have their own viewpoint. Go figure.

In his mind, (which is quite a small cubbyhole of a place) he feels that people should not judge him by what he says. They should simply agree with him because he is after all correct.
