I don't think he's insane, but I do think he should be fined by the league for public disparagement of the officials. Seriously, you're not supposed to do that.

I guess Polian thinks that the refs, and the rest of the country is off it's rocker and i guess we all need to go make an appointment at lenscrafters and get our eyes checked. Obviously we are all wrong and what we saw is not what we thought we saw. Sorry Mr. Polian our bad!

I think he is insane. This may not be a great example of it, but you can be an insane genius. Polian is clearly a very bright guy, but he is also out of his mind. You aren't sane when you throw someone against the wall because they refuse to move speakers farther from the field or jump around and cheer in the press box when it is a rule that there is no cheering allowed in the press box or publically asking for someone to break the opposing team's player's leg as the GM of the team.

Funny thing is, we would not have heard anything from this lunatic if Adam hits that field goal. I think he might be insane yet functional. I've come across several people in my life who I would say weren't sane but could function in society. Polian might have Borderline Personality Disorder or Narcissistic Personality Disorder. These people can be brilliant at their jobs but otherwise delusional, obsessive, vindictive and nutty as a fruitcake.
