I think the point he's making is, if the Steelers played those teams they would allow more points than the Pats did. Especially on the road where the Steelers have struggled, 2-2 with two losses to losing teams.
Well, I dont know about that, different teams match up differently imo. Thats why you see some teams, even though they appear to be worse teams, give a superior team trouble.

Okay, while that logic is interesting I have a question for you, you really think that the Pats defense shutdown Dallas and Indy? didn't they both put up over 20 on you? sorry but it was your offense that beat Dallas, and as for the Colts game, well that was actually just a sloppy game by both teams imo, but they still put up twenty plus on you.
The officials put those points on us in the Colts game. Both by giving us fake penalties and by ignoring the blatant cheating by the Colts.
No chance in hell they would have scored less points on you in Dallas or Indy.
Our defenses are both top 5 in the league, meanwhile our offense will own your team. And Ben is only as good as his last pick.
Maybe we will even keep Brady in the game with you guys in the fourth quarter and actually run up the score for the first time instead of taking him out like we have essentially all season.

Well, complaining about the officials is retarded, it makes you sound like a seahawks fan lol, and you say Ben is only as good as his last pick? are you that blind? he has the second best td-int ratio in the NFL you don't know that your offense will own our defense and you have no way in hell of telling that the Steelers offense cant put up points on you. Willie Parker is a ridiculously fast back and all he needs is one good block and he is gone and at the same time Ben is an elite qb capable of picking apart any secondary.

Steeler Steve, you were okay for awhile but then you post this garbage and genuinely humiliate yourself. First of all, Seahawks fans SHOULD complain about officials. Easily THE biggest gift Super Bowl of all-time. And I'm not talking a call here or there - great teams overcome that kind of thing. Pittsburgh got about 5 HUGE calls that were definitely wrong and universally reviled. Seattle has every reason to feel completely JOBBED in that game. But that's beside the point.
Willie Parker is indeed a very fast back - but "all he needs is one good block and he is gone?" Really? Does he have like, 50 touchdowns this season? 'Cause, I mean, wow - just one good block, huh? Impressive...
As for Ben being "capable of picking apart any secondary..." apparently not. And I'm pretty sure he hasn't faced THIS secondary, or anything like it, this season.
Keep talking baseless trash, Steve. You all do. It's been literally YEARS that trolls like you have stopped by, talked crap, and then left without an F-ing WORD after the Pats take down whatever lame-ass has-been they root for. I had hoped you were one of the more knowledgeable, exceptional ones. Sorry to see you've shown your pathetically true colors.

Seriously dude, the superbowl I watched was not that bad of officiating, what happened is that there was one bad call and then everyone jumped on every other call that the refs made, the only completley wrong call was the the low hit the refs called on hasselbeck. If you would like to debate them then fine I will debate every call with you and give you the chance to change my mind.
When I said all that willie needs is "one good block" was a bit of an exaggeration, but I guess I kinda intended it to be interpreted that way. The truth is though, that if he can get around the corner or break free, there is probably no defender in the nfl with the raw speed to catch him.
On to Ben Roethlisberger, he is an elite qb and to say he isn't, well thats just not true. Anybody can see that he is passing better than pretty much any other so called "elite" qb other than Brady. He has the second highest ypc this season and ranked first I believe for career stats, when you add on the fact that he can also hurt teams with his legs that makes for a pretty dangerous qb.
Once again, I was not trolling or talking basless trash, I was stating my opinion. I guess I am not aloud to have one though or I will be called a troll. Seriously what makes you think that I have been a troll.

This is true.

To be an elite quarterback, you at least have to go two years with that status from YOUR OWN fan base. I refuse to believe Big Ben is the real deal considering that last year most people in Pittsburgh wanted him benched. I'll agree he is very talented and sometimes reminds me of Brady late in games, but you guys are just riding the high right now. Wait until his inevitable meltdown in the playoffs and then come back here.
