Patriots defensive end Ty Warren is out in the community today, taking 13 families shopping for all the items necessary to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. Warren and his wife Keesha hosted the event through his 1st and Goal Foundation at Shaw's Supermarket in Mansfield, Mass.
Way to go Ty.

In a semi-related note...I wonder if the organization will do anything for the Veterans and their families who were disappointed by the mishandling of the recent Veterans day event--not the Patriots' fault, from all accounts, but it would be pretty great if they could make some gesture, as a display of pride.

(The numerous typos in the invite certainly make the entire shebang appear the work of amateurs, sadly, given the noble circumstances.)

Good for Ty and all the other Pats out there doing good. There was a great piece on Jarvis the other day in the Globe re: Marquise' child.
