Heres an interesting situational question IMO.....

Suppose you were Robert Kraft and while he was in his office during the bye week the devil himself (NO Not Belichick,the REAL Devil

) appears before him and gives him an option...

1) The devil 100% GUARANTEES that the Patriots WILL win this years Super Bowl and go 19-0 if the Patriots would give up the other #1 pick they have in next years draft which would leave them with no first rounder or reject the offer and just let the season go on and hope to win the Super Bowl and keep the pick - But the decision would have to be made BEFORE this weeks game after the bye.

What do you do? Take the guaranteed 4th title,a 19-0 record and give up the pick?

or leave things as-is, keep the pick,and hope it all ends up in a championship ending?

(Of course the Devil can never be trusted but for the sake of making this interesting lets just say he is not lying this time

)

Hmm...I think I trust the talent on the team to take it this year. Our team has never been this dominating in the past, and I really can't see anyone bumping us out of the playoffs. Just think of how close we were last year with the talent and injuries that we had. We've had a MAJOR upgrade from the talent, and we're nowhere near close to the significant amount of injuries from last year.

We goin' all the way, baby!

I'd take the guarantee and use the extra money towards locking up one of Moss, Wilfork, Mankins.

Okay number 1, whatever you've heard, Bill Belichick is not the devil.

Number 2, he maintains total control of football operations and makes this decision on his own

Not to make this a test of piety, but why is it that the devil always has to be the one making these deals? I mean, why not Ganesh? After all, isn't he more likely to be abating obstacles? That's his job. Plus, he has an elephant head. What's cooler than an elephant head?!
