Should the Bills run up the score on the Patriots? - Buffalobills.com Message Board

A loyal Bills fan having some fun ... it's an entertaining thread IMO.

Quote:
One guy says ... "When I read "run up the score" , I thought Slammer was talking maybe 3 field goals.

You know the Pats are up like 35-6 and we still kick a field goal as time expires to run up the score to 9."
Another says:
Quote:
"I think we'll show no mercy, and roll the score up to 12.

To be really nasty we'll onside kick after the third fieldgoal, and boot a 67 yard field goal to ice the 57-12 loss as time expires."

Good stuff ... too bad they aren't ahead of the Jets ... well maybe soon.
if you search around their board they are still discussing flutie.

They yearn for someone, anyone resembling Kelly

You almost never see Jim Kelly ever talk about today's Bills..nothing good to say perhaps

They should be asking themselves "Can the Patriots defense make our Quarterback look like a probowl starter too?"

Fitzgerald will pass for 200 yards for sure,Evans will get 100 yards, question is the Bills RBs and how they will fare, the RBs will determine whether Buffalo remains alive in this game late

My favorite part of the thread was in one bills fans signature:

It's hard to only build through the draft, when the best team in your division consistantly has twice as many draft picks.

Thank you Bob Kraft for providing us your competitive and entertaining class product on the field. You may make some bonehead moves now and then, and may charge top dollar, but I am SO thankfull you're not Ralph Wilson.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH
