McNeil has signed his tender and will report to the Chargers. This leaves Mankins and Vincent Jackson as the NFL's only remaining holdouts.

I couldn't of said it better myself. Exactly why players need to figure out what's right for them rather then just taking their agent's word for it. McNeil became less of a man today.

no, i would say he became a man today
up to today he was just a boy, b/c he held out and got nothing out of it
but he came back now, admitting a mistake

He was more of a man when he made a decision for himself and stuck it out. Admitting he was wrong took that out of him. Now he has to live as less of a man and with less of a paycheck.
