Default OT: Colts Special Teams Were Aweful

kick return for a touchdown
punt return for a touchdown
easy kick missed to end the half
chip shot missed with less than two minutes left

and the refs make up for one of last week's bad call my not calling a pass interference on SD that would have given Indy the game.

Av is to blame for some of that with his substandard leg strength. He is putting his kickoff unit in position to fail.

The Colts' ST coverage ITSELF is just HORRENDOUS. When Adam was with your team, AT LEAST the Pats had GOOD coverage.

we can definitively say that special teams lost them this game on so many levels. Maybe Dungy's team-building ideology is flawed.

Yes, as someone said, somewhere a drunk kicker is laughing.

With a mediocre effort by the special teams, the game belonged to the colts. SD was dreadful. Even with the INT's and injuries, the offense did more than enough to win. and yes, it was great to see the colts LOSE a critical TD because of a bad official's ruling.

You could say the same about their game with the Pats. They were seriously over-matched on KR and PR, esp., by Welker at the end to set up the winning scores with a short field.

Anyone know if the Chiefs special teams are any good. Nice to see the Colts get another hard hitting team visiting them this week. Cheer up Colts fans, at least it won't be wet.

That was a close call, hard to see by the ref. The Hobbit call was easily seen. That being said what about the not-called PI when the Colt defender with his back to the ball ran over Gates? The PI rules in the NFL are incomprehensible to mortals.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH
