As much as it seems unlikely to keep the 3 td/game streak going, I don't know where it would happen, except for the Giants. The Ravens & Steelers can play the run well, so Brady will have to make it happen with the pass imo.
Interesting but you gotta figure a few situations here and there where the Pats run it in or the D and STs score a few and he doesn't throw for 3. Then again with Morris OUT, our goal line O is more likely to pass than run. Moss, Watson, Vrable , and surprisingly Welker are a great set of goal line pass options.

I don't think Brady is going to keep up the current pace or shatter the record as significantly as most think. I'd be really surprised at 55, but it's certainly possible.

I think as the weather gets colder and the playoff picture and bye situation starts to become more clear, there will be a slow down. Teams also now have a more significant library of tapes of this version of the Patriots and may throw some stuff at us in the second half that might require more running in the red zone.

Even with the amazing start that he's had, think about this -- just to tie the record, he needs to play the last 7 games at a 37 TD/season pace (or 2.285 per game), which is significanly higher than any previous season he's had. Kind of a testament to how incredible it will be if he breaks the record. Throw in one zero in there or two 1 TD games and all of the sudden things look a whole lot different.

Anyway, my guess is that his total for the season will end up around 51 or 52 and that he'll get number 50 either late in game 15 or early in game 16.

I'll say against the Jests. It would be poetic justice, to say the least. Plus, I have tickets to the Jests game so I'd like to witness the carnage in person.

2. Could someone kindly tell me if the 49 held by Manning, was that achieved in regular season or play offs included ?
Many thanks and enjoy the bye week end. Personaly i am going to cheer Clevland and San Diego ! Peace . Abdul.
Peyton broke the record during the regular season, although I'm not sure which week he did it (16 or 17, quite likely).

My take:

Bills: 4 (37)
Eagles: 6 (43)
Ravens: 5 (48)
Steelers: 2 (50)
Jets: 0 (50)
Dolphins: 0 (50)
Giants: 0 (50)

I think he breaks the record against the Steelers. Wanna guess what else he breaks that game?

Sorry I couldn't resist the trollish reply.

Thanks for info on Manning's 49 in regular season. Really hope Brady is on 46 - 47 before Jets game . I am just so sure that he will get the chance to at least tie record in that game. Fingers crossed he has the chance . No better game to bring down Gillette than this one. God i am praying for that.
GO PATS.

I would say in game #14 is when Tommy breaks the record. I think he can keep up the torrid pace.

I believe Manning got his 49th in game 15, then more or less sat out the rest of the way. If there's a choice Brady should break it game 15 or earlier or there will probably be whines from Indy about how Manning could have made the record so much higher that he'd still have it. Most impartial people would reject that line of thinking but it would still be a distraction.

To think Marino had the record for all those years, i am sure Manning never ever beleived to see his record broken in just what ? 3 years !!!
I think Brady gets 55 - 58. GO TOMMY. GO PATS.
