Default The Official Pats are on the bye 'Pick the other games ' Thread

Not much on the Patriots front this week so heres my picks of the other 31 meaningless teams to which most are just going to fall victim to the Patriots sooner or later so here goes......

ATLANTA at CAROLINA Neither team has a decent QB but Carolina has Julius Peppers and Steve Smith while Atlanta has....Uhh nobody.

Prediction: Carolina 23 Atlanta 17

MINNESOTA at GREEN BAY The Packers are at home which gives them the edge plus Jackson is doubtful at QB for Minny and if the Packers can keep Peterson from rushing for less than 200 yards (not an easy task) the Pack should win easily and go to 8-1.

Prediction: Green Bay 20 Minnesota 10

DENVER at KANSAS CITY Both teams are playing horrible but both still have the potential to win the division that none of the 4 teams seems to want to win - Kansas City has not lost at home in 2 consecutive games in quite a while therfore I go with ...

Prediction: Kansas City 30 Denver 21

BUFFALO at MIAMI Upset Special: The Dolphins may finally somehow find a way to pull out a win as Buffalo may get caught sleeping looking forward to next weeks tilt at home against New England - I look for the Dolphins defense to make some plays to spell the difference in this one,Jason Taylor will have a big day - Miami ends the losing skid.

Prediction: Miami 13 Buffalo 10

ST. LOUIS at NEW ORLEANS The winless pathetic Rams at the surging Saints will prove to be a mismatch sending the Rams to 0-9.

Prediction: New Orleans 38 St. Louis 24

CLEVELAND at PITTSBURGH Cleveland always seems to play decent at Pittsburgh and Derek Anderson is a future star in the making but since this is at Pittsburgh and they are pushing for the #2 seed I must go with the Black and Gold.

Prediction: Pittsburgh 26 Cleveland 17

JACKSONVILLE at TENNESSEE Jacksonville is beginning to look like a team that will only win as far as thier defense takes them while Tennessee is running on all cylinders and looks to tie Indy for the top spot in the South.

Prediction: Tennessee 21 Jacksonville 20

PHILADELPHIA at WASHINGTON This may be a good tight game,Philadelphia has alot of problems like the discontented McNabb and Coach Reid with family problems,I think they put that all aside and prove that the distractions are not affecting them - Donovan wants to keep his job and I look for a big passing day from him.

Prediction: Philadelphia 27 Washington 24

CINCINNATI at BALTIMORE What happened to the Baltimore defense? - They have not played well and are missing A.T. in the middle this year,The struggle continues as Cincinnati pulls the upset and sweeps the series this year - Houshmenzada to have a big day.

Prediction: Cincinnati 29 Baltimore 24

DETROIT at ARIZONA The Lions are playing great and still have hopes for the division while Arizona needs a win to keep up in the west - This is going to be a very good game with big numbers all around, neither team will stop the other and the Cards come out on top.

Prediction: Arizona 37 Detroit 35

DALLAS at the NEW YORK GIANTS Best matchup of the day but NEVER go against a team which is on a 7 game win streak in a big game at home against a leading division rival.

Prediction: NY Giants 23 Dallas 20

CHICAGO at OAKLAND 2 Teams struggling to continue hopes for a playoff berth and both with pretty good defenses that should keep this a competitive low scoring affair.

Prediction: Chicago 16 Oakland 14

INDIANAPOLIS at SAN DIEGO No one is giving S.D. much chance here since they got beat down at Detroit last week while Indy and Manning rarily loses 2 in a row and gave the Patriots a scare for 3 1/2 quarters - This is do or die for San Diego and since I think they will make the playoffs and win the division, I go with the upset here and a rare Indy losing skid - Tomlinson puts on a show with 180 rushing yards in this game, bank on it.

Prediction: San Diego 33 Indianapolis 27

SAN FRANCISCO at SEATTLE Does anyone care to watch this one? Maybe Pats fans do because this is another possible SF loss that helps in the 2008 draft,Other than that only fans of both teams will be able to keep thier eyes open thru 4 quarters of this crap matchup between 2 teams struggling, but Seattle at least has a shot at the West.

Prediction: Seattle 35 San Francisco 10

ATLANTA at CAROLINA - Panthers win

MINNESOTA at GREEN BAY - Packers win.

DENVER at KANSAS CITY - Broncos win
Note: Normally I'd say Kansas City, but they aren't the same team.

BUFFALO at MIAMI - Bills win
Note: They'll run the ball

ST. LOUIS at NEW ORLEANS - Saints win

CLEVELAND at PITTSBURGH - Steelers Win
Note: I'd like to say the Browns will pull of the upset, and really I could see it happening, but their defense isn't good enough. If the Steelers drop this game...

JACKSONVILLE at TENNESSEE - Titans win

PHILADELPHIA at WASHINGTON - Redskins win

CINCINNATI at BALTIMORE - Bengals win

DETROIT at ARIZONA - The Lions win

DALLAS at the NEW YORK GIANTS - Cowboys win
Note: I could see the Giants winning, but I think Dallas' O-line will partially stop the Giants pass rush, and the Giants secondary won't be able to stop their passing attack. The Cowboys will get some yards rushing, and that Dallas secondary looks to be getting healthier. Demarcus Ware will make friends with Eli

CHICAGO at OAKLAND - Bears win

INDIANAPOLIS at SAN DIEGO - Chargers win
Note: Dallas Clark will be out, Marvin Harrison will be out, Gonzalaz might be out, and they have a number of other injuries. The Chargers will double Wayne, and put a bunch of men in the box, forcing Manning to beat them with Moorehead, and their other backups. If the Colts defense can get some turnovers it might be a different story though.

SAN FRANCISCO at SEATTLE - Seahawks win

ATLANTA at CAROLINA

Panthers win

MINNESOTA at GREEN BAY

Packers continue to roll

DENVER at KANSAS CITY

Chiefs continue to play well

BUFFALO at MIAMI

Miami won't go winless, but nonetheless continue their winless streak

ST. LOUIS at NEW ORLEANS

No brainer-Brees and co light it up

CLEVELAND at PITTSBURGH

Cleveland's an improved team, but they're hardly at the level of Pitt

JACKSONVILLE at TENNESSEE

I'm picking Jax to avenge their opening week loss to the Titans

PHILADELPHIA at WASHINGTON

Philly just has too many in-house issues distracting them, and the fact that they got pounded by a divisional rival at home says ALOT. Skins win

CINCINNATI at BALTIMORE

Like Philly, Baltimore has too many in-house issues distracting them, plus a washed-up QB to boot. Cincy upsets

DETROIT at ARIZONA

This time, AZ will come out on top of a nailbiter

DALLAS at the NEW YORK GIANTS

The Giants are healthy, rested, the coaches had 2 weeks to prepare, the Meadowlands will be very hostile, and this game means ALOT more to the Giants

CHICAGO at OAKLAND

Griese will continue to struggle

INDIANAPOLIS at SAN DIEGO

Somehow, Norvo the Clown will pull another nailbiting-defeat out of his arse

SAN FRANCISCO at SEATTLE

Hopefully-I'll have better things to do that night, but Seattle wins

ATLANTA at CAROLINA the battle of the below-averages
Prediction: Carolina 10 Atlanta 17

MINNESOTA at GREEN BAY Minnesota is pumped and Pederson is the scariest man in football WITHOUT a flying elvis on this helmet.

Prediction: Green Bay 17 Minnesota 24

DENVER at KANSAS CITY Some boring games this week.
KC has a good D

Prediction: Kansas City 21 Denver 10

BUFFALO at MIAMI Buffalo keeps losing players but gaining wins.
They should have 20 guys on IR and 8 wins by the end of the season.

Prediction: Miami 7 Buffalo 20

ST. LOUIS at NEW ORLEANS Saint learned to throw and catch again.

Prediction: New Orleans 38 St. Louis 17

CLEVELAND at PITTSBURGH Cleveland owes Pittsburgh a good beating.

Prediction: Pittsburgh 17 Cleveland 34

JACKSONVILLE at TENNESSEE Vince Young struggles, titans win...same story, diffrent week

Prediction: Tennessee 21 Jacksonville 17

PHILADELPHIA at WASHINGTON Yawn

Prediction: Philadelphia 10 Washington 24

CINCINNATI at BALTIMORE Ray lewis is crazy but Baltimore couldn't cover a queen size bed with a king sized blanket Monday night. If Cinnci can't pass on Baltimore they should disband

Prediction: Cincinnati 28 Baltimore 13

DETROIT at ARIZONA meh

Prediction: Arizona 14 Detroit 17

DALLAS at the NEW YORK GIANTS 2 teams about as equal as you can get. If Dallas keeps starting Julious jones then i gotta go with NYG but Burress is due to suck any day now.

Prediction: NY Giants 28 Dallas 20

CHICAGO at OAKLAND "The raiders cuz they always cheat" Lisa Simpson

Prediction: Chicago 14 Oakland 20

INDIANAPOLIS at SAN DIEGO I'll go with a beat up indy over just a bad Norv turner team. It's all about LT, He runs they win, he don't they lose.

Prediction: San Diego 23 Indianapolis 27

SAN FRANCISCO at SEATTLE If there is any way i can help SF lose just let me know how.

Prediction: Seattle 35 San Francisco 10

CAROLINA over ATLANTA, 12-7 (4 Kasay FGs and a Warrick Dunn TD on the heels of his nice game last week)

GREEN BAY over MINNESOTA, 32-12 (Purple Jesus is somewhat contained and Favre lights up the Vikes secondary)

KANSAS CITY over DENVER, 20-14 (RBBC with Holmes and Smith in Arrowhead against the awful Broncs rush defense and the KC defense plays better at home)

BUFFALO over MIAMI, 20-7 (The Dolphins lost to the Raiders at home-- they are more than capable of losing to the Bills, and they will. The Bills made Tony Romo look bad-- they are more than capable of making Cleo Lemon look bad, and they will. The Bills have a lot of confidence and Dick Jauron has them believing they can contend for the Wild Card with two games against the Dolphins and winnable games vs. Jacksonville, Washington, Cleveland, and Philadelphia on the schedule. Losman has receivers to throw to and Lemon doesn't. Lynch will rip that D-Line to shreds.)

ST. LOUIS over NEW ORLEANS, 24-14 (Having SJax back makes a big difference. The Rams are awful without him, but very good with him.)

PITTSBURGH over CLEVELAND, 24-17 (Fast Willie will be the player of the game, but Derek Anderson will put some points on the board with Edwards and Winslow)

TENNESSEE over JACKSONVILLE, 20-9 (Quinn Gray is awful and Tennessee stops the run better than anyone, making the Jags zero-dimensional)

PHILADELPHIA over WASHINGTON, 24-14 (The Skins could barely stop the Jets and the Eagles are more talented and they beat the Vikes in Minnesota two weeks ago)

CINCINNATI over BALTIMORE, 28-13 (Palmer has all his weapons now and has a big day with three TD passes and the Ravens offense continues to stumble)

DETROIT over ARIZONA, 20-7 (Lions D is much improved since the Bye Week)

NEW YORK GIANTS over DALLAS, 27-14 (The Giants are hot, at home, rested and focused after their Bye Week)

CHICAGO over OAKLAND, 14-7 (Fargas gets a TD, Desmond Clark and Greg Olsen have good games and Hester runs a punt return in for a TD)

SAN DIEGO over INDIANAPOLIS, 30-20 (The beaten up Colts D breaks in the 4th when San Diego puts it away)

SEATTLE over SAN FRANCISCO, 20-10 (key Frank Gore fumble and Engram and Burleson have great games)

Instead of actually picking, I'm going to go with the "Who I want to win" option since it's more fun for me.

ATLANTA at CAROLINA
Carolina. Go Vinny T!

MINNESOTA at GREEN BAY
Minnesota. Hope AP has a big day.

DENVER at KANSAS CITY
Denver. At this point they have a better chance of winning the division due to LJ's injury and seeing San Diego out the playoffs would be great. Yes, I want to face Denver in the playoffs, just to kill any demons Brady is believed to have against them.

BUFFALO at MIAMI
Dolphins. I want SF's draft pick to go up higher, and I want the Bills to be going into next week embarassed. Though if the Dolphins lose again, I'm fine with the winless season going on. You know, I don't know if I want them to win this actually, **** Don Shula.

ST. LOUIS at NEW ORLEANS
Rams. I want SF's draft pick higher. Plus those Saints Visa ad's on TV are really annoying...

CLEVELAND at PITTSBURGH
Cleveland. I want the "Steelers are an elite team" rubbish gone.

JACKSONVILLE at TENNESSEE
Titans. They have the best chance of winning the divison, and I really hope they do.

PHILADELPHIA at WASHINGTON
Washington. I want to be facing Philly's backup by the time we play them.

CINCINNATI at BALTIMORE
Bengals. I want Baltimore to be in complete chaos when they play us ala the Bengals now.

DETROIT at ARIZONA
Got to love the year Detriot's having, Detriot.

DALLAS at the NEW YORK GIANTS
Dallas. I just like them more as team then I do the Giants. Though TO really is ridiculous. I want the Giants to be going through their second half slump when we get them at 15-0.

CHICAGO at OAKLAND
Oakland, no real reason.

INDIANAPOLIS at SAN DIEGO
Good lord I hate both teams. I'll go with San Diego though, I don't want the Colts even mentioned on our level anymore. It's a win-win though really.

SAN FRANCISCO at SEATTLE
Seattle of course. Keep that draft pick rising!

Atlanta at CAROLINA- Watch for Atlanta to get the upset. Falcons win.
Minnesota at GREEN BAY- My father, who is a Packers fan, continues to celebrate. Victory for the Cheeseheads.
Denver at KANSAS CITY Denver.
BUFFALO at Miami I see no reason to think the Dolphins can stop their losing ways.
St. Louis at NEW ORLEANS Saints roll.
Cleveland at PITTSBURGH I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the Browns upset the Steelers. Forget about running it, Anderson to Edwards will be heard a lot on Sunday.
Jacksonville at TENNESSEE Tennessee... Big.
Philly at WASHINGTON Redskins.
Cincy at BALTIMORE Bungles with the upset.
Detroit at ARIZONA Detroit's flying high after their demolition of the Broncos. They'll come crashing down on Sunday. The Cardinals win the game!
DALLAS at N.Y. Giants As much as I'd like to see the Giants win... Cowboys take this one.
CHICAGO at Oakland This just in: the Raidahs suck. Bears win.
INDY at San Diego Chargers pull off the upset, and they can credit the physical play of the Pats for it.
San Fran at SEATTLE That draft pick looks better and better.
