Default Shula: "Patriots", "Bonds", and "asterisk" in one sentence! --NY Daily News

"I guess you got the same thing as putting an asterisk by Barry Bonds' home run record...."

"You have to acknowledge what they accomplished, but I don't know how you disregard Spygate," Shula said. "It's there. It happened. You don't know what was on those tapes and how much it helped. I think the commissioner just wanted it to go away."

Well, I guess we can thank him for giving the team for some bulletin material during the bye-week and not take the foot off the pedal.

When the champagne boys are drooling at the end of the year will we start hearing all the whining again concerning cameragate. Looks like its starting already.

Keep it coming, *********. Give BB more incentive to shove an undefeated season down those doddering, champagne-guzzling, has-been fools' throats.

Quiet... Do you hear Shula's schpincter tightening over the prospect of the 72 Dolphins losing their exlusive record? I do.

Shula is senile and afraid that the Patriots will wipe his team off the record books. I'm just glad he will be alive to see it happen.

Old farts have a tendency to say stuff like this to somehow pump up their own past accomplishments. I've heard it time and time again over the years, and its kind of sad and lacks graciousness.

Q: You know who should be the MOST upset with Shula for saying all this?

A: The New York Giants.

Hi schpincter doesn't tighten properly anymore, that's part of his problem.
