Like most people on hear I do agree Moss was the difference in the game and I love having him on the Pats. I really do think he looked a bit timid at times on his middle crossing routes. Had Bethea actually caught the ball that went through Moss's hands and directly into his lap I think a lot more people on here would give some more thought to my point. I can't rember when specifically but there were two other drops in the center of the field. That being said I am extremley happy having Moss on the Pats and believe he has a tremendous amount to do with the way the Pats are dominating this year.

The beauty of the Pats passing attack is that they are able to consistently (once or twice a game) hit a deep pass. This is huge for opponent game plans, in the past Brady would throw deep to Patten, Branch, Givens, Caldwell but very few 40+ yard plays ever happened.

Moss reminds me of an offensive version of Lawrence Taylor, you don't notice him all game and then he makes a play that changes the game.

Like most sober fans I think he has totally transformed the Patriots offense, so much for the lethal 2 TE attack circa 2006.

Wow...9 rec, 145 Yd, and 1 TD is a players worst game of the season?? Moss has set the bar so high that you guys are starting to believe 1-2 bobbles or dropped passes a game warrants criticism. You realize TO does this EVERY game?? Did you not see the catch Wayne missed?? Just cause Moss catches everything, doesnt mean he has to be held to that standard..thats not fair. Thats the equivalent of holding Brady to an 80% completion and anything less being subpar.

He was asked to do something yesterday that he doesn't usually do. Did he look a bit uncomfortable going over the middle? Sure, a bit. It's not his typical game. But he adjusted and made plays.

I honestly don't understand your point. Yes, there was a catchable ball that could have been a pick, but wasn't. There also was an uncatchable ball over the middle that almost certainly would have been a pick if he had not made a spectacular one handed catch.

The guy caught 9 balls against a defense that was flying. He had a touchdown and set up another. A predominantly side-line receiver was asked to do things he doesn't usually do and he still had 145 yards. His team won, largely because of his play. I can think of "what if" scenarios for every player. If the Rams had blocked Vinatieri's filed goal, he probably wouldn't be thought of as so clutch.

There was no single player on the field yesterday who stood out more or was more responsible for his team's victory than Randy Moss. I respect your right to voice an opinion, but I think your opinion is silly.

By the way, here's one more thing to consider. In the 8 games the Colts have played, here are the yardage totals of their opponents' leading receiver for the game.

57, 72, 70, 35, 58, 53, 62, 145.

One of these things is not like other.

What exactly is the point again?

Default Coach to Quarterback

BB just stated during his press conference that they had no coach to QB communication during most of the game. Since it has been inferred that the Pats were cheating when this happened in Foxboro then it must mean the Colts were cheating here as well as pumping in crowd noise.

IF ifs and buts were candy and nuts then every day would be christmas! C'mon man-- 9 catches for 145 and a TD plus setting up the score that starts the comeback and you don't think he had a good game? Not to mention how he opens things up making it so much easier for everyone else to get open. The one hander he picked out of the stratosphere was just sick! Send that footage to the HOF now cuz there ain't another WR in the league who catches that. I recommend you stop focusing on perfection or you're liable to miss the true greatness we're all privileged to be watching this year.

1.5 drops..1 was just off his hands..maybe a little too far in front of him but he shoulda had it. the other where he bobbled was maybe little high(is that possible for Randy?)

but what he did early on doesnt matter. He came when it mattered most..huge plays..great catches. The PI call on him was BS but games over, idc

Moss is a playmaker..hes a big part of our offense and he was the X Factor along with Harrison & Faulk

Colts had a streak dating back to 2005 where they have not allowed a 100 yard receiver since Jimmy Smith in '05

This board is pretty funny... There is a thread dedicated to Randy's great game that gets a handful of responses but the negative thread gets all of the responses... anyway!

Without Moss the Pats would NOT have won. I have posted this elsewhere, but the two biggest things about Moss that stands out besides the obvious crazy catches and production is:
1) WR Randy Moss -- 56 of 58 snaps "ANALYSIS: The workhorse season for WR Randy Moss continues, as he left the field for just two non kneel-down plays, both on short-yardage situations when the team called on its "jumbo" package to run. ..." courtesy of Reiss
My Analysis- he is running up and down the field on every play and made the biggest plays of the day at the end. This guy is as gifted a reciever and athlete we may EVER see, but his hard work is one thing that has truely impressed me and that I didnt think was going to come with the "randy" package

2) For as much of a hothead and "cancer" that he was supposedly labeled elsewhere, has anyone seen one instance when he has bit$hed about a call or non call? There have certainly been times this year and last night when he has been interfered with or like last night called on a phantom Offensive PI call, but he just jogs back to the huddle and goes running down the field again.

I dont think any of us could have predicted how great Moss has been thus far and if this production continues it will go along with some of the great Celtic's trades when Red was running the show

HE MADE A 1 HANDED CATCH GOING OVER THE MIDDLE THAT WAS LIKE 4 FT ABOVE HIS HEAD.
