Default Jim Nantz - good guy

Just listen to him on "Patriots Playbook", patriots.com.

Talked about running up the score and seems very OK with it
and had a few choice words for Washington's Loser Godfrey.

I believe he will be casting the game Sunday ... that should be a good thing.
Maybe we won't have to hear ... "they run up the score" 100 times.

He said PATs first drive of the season went for 91 yards .... and could
be said it commemorated Marquise Hill, 91.
He may mention it Sunday.

Interesting... do we have a breakdown of that drive?

Nantz said Are you sure? You just had a shot and couldn't stop them ..

The show will be replayed at 4pm I think.

Nance was just on "The Drive" in Indy. Stated there is no difference in the Pats and Colts. So I guess he isn't such a good guy now right?

You're pretty bad at the whole troll thing.

Wasn't trying to troll - merely passing along a statement.

Actually, that makes him an even better guy. If the national perception of the Pat's is that they're a bunch of classless, cheating, running-up-the-score low lifes and Nantz says "There is NO DIFFERENCE between the Pats and Colts"......then we like him!!

I also read some stuff in Reiss' Pieces that Nantz said, and he has a reasonable take on the whole thing. What I love about Nantz is that he does his job so well and knows exactly what his job is. Doesn't do more or less. Joe Buck is an extremely talented announcener who annoys the living shyt out of me b/c he's always trying to throw in his two cents. Nantz doesn't do that.

On top of that, the guy has a great voice, rarely makes mistakes, and always heightens the drama of any sporting situation. He and Simms are by far the best team out there right now and I love listening to them.

Yeah, yeah - that's what he meant. Nice catch!
