Default Incuts/Slants... new offensive weapon??

did everyone notice how many times brady got the ball to Welker, Maroney, and Faulk while they were entering the slot and he hit them in stride?

I've seen this before but I saw this 6-7 times yesterday and Brady hit them while they were in stride.

This seems to be a large part of the new offensive arsenal and I see this as be impimented against the Colts.

They take what the defense (generously) gives. You could almost tell that the Skins were going to go to the wall to prevent the long ball. All they talked about all week was how great their corners and safeties were. Moss is in their brains.

So Bill guessed right for the game plan. Indeed, they did take Moss away, but they just left themselves wide open underneath.

There will be even more unique wrinkles coming this week. This week they could score more points than they did on Sunday.

This has never been a big part of the offense. I used to think Brady couldn't throw across the middle. It was just a coverage thing, I suppose. Now Randy Moss is opening up that part of the field for other players.

Lol, this thread title reminded me of the SB against the Rams when Mangina and BB were preaching to the whole defense: "Incuts and Slants!! Thats the game!!" Meaning thats all that Greatest Show on Turf ran! Well I guess BB took a page out of that playbook!

Didn't Bill Walsh invent those plays?

(80% kidding)

You got that right. Moss wouldn't go in the middle if his life depended on it.

He's ran routes in the slot all season. Not sure what you're talking about.

Note, the poster wrote "used to think Brady couldn't throw over the middle." But I think you are right. Randy Moss actually had a few nightmares about Bob Sanders last night
