No doubt, that was a beating. Not entirely shocked -- You guys are rolling at an epic rate and, if you remember, the result wasn't much different than when the Pats and Skins played in the "important" (third) pre-season game last season.

I really was hoping to see the Skins coaches come out swinging, call an aggressive game, and pull out all the stops...Unfortunately they did just about none of that. Gregg Williams defensive gameplan was terrible...sitting back and giving the 8-10 yard slot routes and dump offs was about as effective as in the pre-season game last year (40-0?? in that one).

Good luck against the Colts...should be a classic.

I'm not so sure you blitz brady.... there is not much a team can do against a dominant team. It will be interesting how the Colts approach the game and what strategy they will employ.

All I know is that this won't last forever and the Pats will be back to medicrity when BB and BRady are gone so I'm enjoying every minute of it and especially this historic season.

True. But yeah, all of you guys need to enjoy the hell out of it. Forget about the Easterbrooks and all of the other negativity and just enjoy every minute of it. I grew up expecting the Skins to be in the SB every year, and they were routinely, buts it been a LONG 15 years since (only 2 playoff appearances in that span).

I hear ya, it's not like you can or would even be able to get another Brady. It's like Jordan retiring when Brady leaves.

I plan on enjoying it.

The funny thing is that there really is a ton of respect from BB to Gibbs - there was absolutely nothing personal in the score today nor any disrespect meant, regardless of how helpless and frustrated whining Redskins players sound now.

So we were 3 minutes away from a 52-0 shutout against a team and coach we respect.

What type of score do you think we're looking at against he hapless Jets coached by Judas ManKotite?

Do you think the players might actually be a little bit motivated to humiliate the Jets? Do you think Belichick is going to lift a finger to stop them?
