2-6?

still keeps them 5th because Rams/Jets/Dolphins lost and Falcons on BYE

actually its tied for 5th because Raiders, Bengals, Vikings lost.

Falcons
Seahawks
Rams
Cardinals
Panthers
Vikings
Bengals
Bucs
Browns

too many winnable games imo

Not often your team can smoke every team it plays and watch it's pick move higher and higher on a weekly basis.

Next up : @ Atlanta then @ Seattle.

Worst case should be 1-1 although I wouldn't be surprised if they lose both.

I am actually rooting for the Jets to win a couple games. It could not get much better than winning the Super Bowl and still pick have the pick one slot in front of the Jets

That's true but I'm enjoying every little moment of the Rat's misery. Picking in front of The Jest would be nice but picking withing a few spots, after winning the SB, would be just fine with me.

I'd love to see them trade down and get back to 2 1st round draft picks

Ironically, when the season started, given the prospects of SF's season, it was looking like we'd be getting a mid teen pick at best to go along with our hoped for #32.

The 5th pick is worth 1700 points

So assuming the SF pick stays there we could conceivably trade back to take #16 (1000 points) and #26 (700 points)

Sure it'd be better to have #32 as well - but given where I thought the 49ers would be, it'll almost be like Goodsell's BS penalty never happened...

and what a great way to say F-U to the league that would be!

I'd like to see them get a starter of some sorts who could blossom into a pro-bowler, even HOF'er, but that's asking alot.

The Atlanta San Fran game will be a good primer for the colts-pats game and will be an indication of how bad san fran is if they lose to atlants which i think could very well happen. san fran has a terrible offense and the defense is starting to wear down. Gore and Smith are all beat up.

that trade is looking sweet.
