I always thought Garcia was a gamer. He was tough as nails and put up good numbers for a nice stretch. He'd be better than Hill up in Detroit.

Oh it turns out Garcia is 42 already? Forget what I said.

Even if he is just an analyst writer, you have to admit that when a writer says a 42 year old QB is better than Sanchez that speaks volumes of what people think of this Hollywood kid right now

Pete Carroll was right, he wasnt ready and still isnt, they should have brought him along slowly and brought someone like Garcia in for a couple years. But Im not complaining.

Jeff Garcia was still playing well back in 2008. I don't know why he hasn't had any interest anywhere since, even as a backup (aside from that short stint with Philly last year).

Bodden must be gnashing his teeth at home thinking of all the career picks he's missing Sunday

I might agree with Banks. Sanchez looks like a QB who lost all of his confidence. When a QB has no confidence in himself and his team, he becomes a huge liability. I strongly believe Schottenheimer called plays to go down the field and Sanchez checked down too quickly because he was too afraid to let the play develop and went for the quick easy throw dump off.

That's a QB thinking about his % completion stats, not moving the chains for a W. Wait, did I accuse Sanchez of thinking? My bad.

On Monday night later in the game when Sanchez got sacked it looked for a moment as though he had been injured. My immediate thought was that Brunell would be tougher for us to face than Sanchez. I was relieved when he seemed OK.

One game is a pretty small sample.

I think Schottenheimer put too much in his head on Monday night, and it was self-defeating. But the kid has never thrown for 300 yards, and I don't think that's because he doesn't have the arm to do it. It's just not the Jets' game. Maybe that changes with Santonio Holmes hits the field. I guess we'll see.
