Parcells might help clean up Miami mess
Yahoo.com is reporting that Bill Parcells might end up in Miami's front office, trying to fix a team that will have a hard time winning a game this season.

"It makes a lot of sense that the Dolphins would be a job he'd be very interested in if it came open," a source close to Parcells said Friday. "But only as the GM. I don't think he'll ever coach again."
Prediction: If the Tuna takes this gig, he fires Cam Cameron and takes over as coach after a season.

We've heard this rumor quite a bit over at FH but I'm not so sure I buy into it. Obviously Wayne Hueizenga isn't happy and wants to win now but that's not exactly the plan Mueller and Cameron have bought into. I think the move putting them behind the 8-ball was the Porter signing. Every move the Fins made said rebuild, rebuild, rebuild, except for the Porter move.

With all this said, I like what Mueller is doing. He is over hauling a roster that really needed to be stripped down and rebuilt since 2003.

I'm not sure who you can place the blame on for 2007. Perhaps Mueller for personel moves, maybe Cameron for mis-game management. However, I don't really want any change to occur, I say just stick with this current plan in place and try to develope some continuity for once in Miami. All the change is just like restarting every year. I'd rather see a plan played out and fail then to change management year in and year out.

As much as I enjoyed the humbling of this once mighty franchise sunday last, this team needs a major shakeup to get in back on the right path.. not sure that Parcell's ego would allow him to be a front office guy, maybe a consultant. Parcells would have to be on the field with all of his theatrics and that is not the role of a GM.

After listening the last couple of weeks to Parcells on the ESPN NFL show he does with Keshawn I have come to one conclusion

Parcells has lost a lot off his fastball.

Aqua I'm not going to venture a guess WHO needs to come in to straighten out the fins. But one thing I do know the team can't keep changing coaches and gm every other year. Theres no continuity.
