Default Redskins are the last team belichick has yet to beat with pats.

I dont know if this has been brought up but the patriots under bill belichick have beat every team in the league exept the Redskins. the last chance they had to defeat them in the 03 season and they stunk up the joint. I think its safe to say that the patriots will be ready for this game.

They played a dreadful game and still *should* have won that game. I'm sure that BB is going to at least show Brady that game because he was terrible. He had some really bad picks and didn't see Larry Centers wide open right in front of him on both 2nd and 4th down.

Yup, the Pats will see this as a chance to right history. They will be up for this game!

The last game the 2004 Patriots lost before rolling to 12 or whatever wins in a row and winning the Super Bowl, and then a total streak of 21 games, was to the STEVE SPURRIER coached Redskins.

That fact still shocks me.

I remember BB being especially irritated by that loss in his after-game press conference etc. It's clear he didn't believe we had any business losing ot that team.

The redskins will hold the Pats but the skins won't score more then 3 points. Sean Taylor leads the nfl in INTs. 20 -3 pats win.

Interestingly, Belichick and Spurrier had a decent length chat after the game during the handshake, and Belichick was being positive, so he seems to like Spurrier personally.

No chance the Pats score less then 31 points, IMO. Any other year, I would't say that.

The Skins will be good for at least 10 points, unless their O-Line is really in bad shape. I see them possibly getting a couple touchdowns, although I don't know how banged up they are. Portis in particular could have a pretty good day.

Our defense is solid, but I have not seen them really prevent a team from scoring some points yet this year during the normal course of the game.

Our offense is as good as they look....

Actually, that was 2003, but we forgive you.

The redskins shut down the best offenses in the league this year. Packers, Lions, Cardinals. I don't know who else, but that's enough for me. They are for real and don't expect Brady to dominate their defense just because we dominated the pathetic Dolphins. Taylor leads the NFL in interceptions and deflections i believe, he's a playmaker and if we don't watch out, if we don't play smart, he could return a pick for a TD. Plus their defensive line and linebackers are playing terrific as well. Their OLB McIntosh sucks in coverage but that's about it. Maybe we can hurt them with Welker in the slot.

Yep said it before but here it is again. Last 4 games: Taylor has 5 ints 8 PD's 3 of which were dropped INTS. The 7 teams the pats have faced have given 26.4 ppg defensively. The Skins only allow 14.7 ppg. Should be a good matchup.
