Default I'm Guessing Peter King is Gerry Callahan's Brother-in-Law

http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/f...47&format=text

"In the past, Belichick has invented ways to inspire his team. This time it’s real. Thanks to New York Jets [team stats] coach Eric Mangini and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, and television analysts Tom Jackson and Chris Collinsworth. It’s a gift that keeps on giving, a whole deck of disrespect cards."

Sure, of all the media hammering the Patriots, Callahan omits Peter The Crusader King to go after Collinsworth and Jackson. That's like the Patriots D putting 2 LB's on Lorenzo Neal and ignoring LaDainian Tomlinson.

Gerry used to write for SI also. The personal relationships writers have DO seep into their columns and they certainly do self-censor based on their whom their buddies are.

Isn't the columnist the same one who trashed us last year on some silly issues and made baseless comments??

I was on BH's site this morning and clicked on this article; but the minute I saw his picture beneath the article, I immediately quit without reading it irrespective of how he praises the Pats now.

These guys are getting paid to be motivational speakers and the great thing is we don't have to pay them a dime to do it.

Collinsworth is getting old. The guys does tons of a radio interviews a week and never fails to mention spygate. He just doesn't realize noone cares anymore and that he is making his interviews quite boring.

Tom Jackson? Well we all know what he thinks of the Pat's. From day one he has never acknowledged this team or it's coach the credit they deserve. And even when he had to after Superbowls it always seemed fake. Just like his boy Schlereth. He's a lousy analyst and it has shown for years.

Peter King? Feeling a little heat buddy? I got a feeling this guy is about to do an about face and start doing his job again after last week. His credibility has taken a shot after the Phillips interview. He's the one with the "black mark" on his resume now. And to be quite frank, his career is being hurt because he just won't let this go. He used to go after multiple stories in season's past and would score some good ones. Now it seems he focuses all his time and energy on the alleged scandal. "Do your job Peter! You are still a good analyst and there is still time to turn it around."

Great article. David Ortiz deserves some heat for his lack of effort; the Patriots deserve even more credit for their continual effort.

Actually, I can't believe he took off on Ortiz - - the guy has a bad knee and should be the LAST person on that team to be criticized for lack of effort (but that's for the Sox forum).

My main point is the omission of Peter King (and inclusion of Tom Jackson - - TJ? that was in 2003) in his complaining of the media onslaught on the Pats over Spygate. Writers will always protect their buddies.

Callahan and King are secret lovers... you heard it here first... it is the truth.
