What I heard Cowher say was the Colts won the SB because of HFA which is huge in this league. I took that to mean absent it they wouldn't have been making the appearance against a team any AFC contender was gonna roll over.

The question was whose O was better of the Colts and Pats teams. Somebody asked Cowher how he thinks Pats O is better. Cowher dismissed Shannon's argument that the Colts are better simply because they're Super Bowl champions. Cowher said Colts won the SB because of HFA which is huge in this league.

because what a team did last year has no revelance to what they are doing / will do this year.

In my opinion, the pats would've won it if they weren't flu-riddled. No one on the pats used the flue excuse, but try playing a sport with a fever/flu...You get exhuasted very quickly. I'm no elite athlete, but I have played hockey with the fever, and I was dying on the ice. In my opinion, the flu/fever that was going around completely explains the second half breakdown. This team was out of gas because they werent healthy. A BB pats team has never been that gased before (or since) in a game.

But it is what it is....

Thats not true, the last 3 seasons, including this one the Colts are 14-5 away from the Dome, nothing spectacular but they have certainly showed they can win on the road, during the entire Tony Dungy era the Colts are 28-12 on the road during the regular season,

I didn't realize that Baltimore was a home game for us. In addition, I didn't realize the SB was played in the Dome last year. Man, how'd it rain in there?? Glad they fixed the leak
