Default Manjudas and his Green Beans are done for 2007: Here is why

The Green Beans will go nowhere this season because:

(1). A quarterback controversy has erupted. Fans are fed up with Pennington and if Popgun Penny keeps lobbing nerf balls to the opposition, Coach Ratfink will be forced to play Kellen Clemens. Once installed, Clemens will suffer the expected growing pains.

(2). Green Bean defensive personnel isn't suited to the 3-4 alignment Ratfink stubbornly insists on force-feeding his team.

(3). Revis doesn't have enough natural ability to overcome the normal rookie learning curve at corner.

(4). Thomas Jones is a great back but can't be the offense's savior without the line to turn him loose. The Bean O-line is performing below expectations; losing Kendall was a bad move and Ferguson is invisible.

Much to rectify on top of a 1-3 hole and the bad karma Tubby Ratfink has generated. C'est la vie.

Pretty much squares with my own thoughts.

All except for the Tubby Ratfink thingy. But that's fun to say, so you pick up points there too.

Overall grade drops to a C, though. That's what you get for speaking French!

The Jets have no pass rush. It's that simple. Anyone can pass on them all day. Unless they figure out a way to score a lot of points they won't be beating many teams.

Many before me here have pointed out that
Jones made his bones behind
Da Bears' O-line.

If he can't do the same in Joisey
... why is he "a great back" ?

C'est l'mort.
