OK I just wanted to say to the person that called Moss a thug. Do you realize that Moss is one of the most charitable guys in the NFL? The guy helps kids in need all the time. He even opened a drink place and donated some of the profit to charity.

I like to think Moss is loving it here. There really arent any great FA next season and we lost a number 1 pick so we will have more money to offer him. Moss can take a smaller contract with the Pats and earn a TON of money on endorsements. Say he wins a SB this year and is the MVP, he can potentially make more money on endorsements than his contract. Signing Moss is well worth it by the way because he is just so much better than everybody else out on the field.

The players that want to play/stay here with BB and Kraft and Co., are players that value football over the buck. They come to play for BB not because he's a warm and fuzzy guy, but because he puts his players in a position of being the best they can be and to win as a team. IMO Randy has gotten some big contracts/attention and has found that lacking compared to his love of the game and his competitive nature. I'll admit to doubting that he would fit into this locker room, and am truly happy for him that he appears to have done so, so seamlessly. He really looks like he's having the time of his life! I wouldn't be surprised to see him back as our top paid receiver. Somehow I think he would get the concept that spreading the money around makes a more supportive team for all.

I think it entirely depends on if we win the Superbowl or not. If we do I say he's Gee Oh En GONE. I Call it the Ted Washington Effect. If not, he might come back cuz he wants the ring.

He definately could have an Asante type year this year for the Pats (meaning playing extra special in an expected sought after FA period next year) and then go back to an average player once he gets big dollars on the open market next year.

I do not think the Pats will have him next year regardless of how great a year he ends up with..Just MHO

I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here--let's take it slow. If he has a monster year and is healthy, he'll want to get paid, and the Pats will see if they can work whatever that payment will be into their system. If not, he'll move on. If I had to guess, he'll be here next year. But it's premature to speculate.

His arrest record is still longer than his charity record. You guys are being homers. But that's cool. Some people still think Chris Henry can turn his life around. Some people in TN still think Pacman is a good guy.

BTW, I am not a racist and I greatly resent that implication. I said nothing about him being black. You did(Alumseat). You are judging on skin color, I am judging on history. He's been a problem everywhere he has been. It will resurface when things don't go his way.

Oh, he's a Bungles fan. Never mind then. You're one to talk about "thugs" when your entire team is made up of them.
He beat his wife. Maybe in your mind that's ok. To me he's a punk. Slap your woman=thug.

Yeah, but you never addressed your comments on stockpiling money... Dillon didn't command a particularly large amount of money and played admirably while injured the last two years he was here. Him hitting his wife had nothing to do with that.

His arrest record includes battery for involvement in a racially-charged fight, a probation violation for smoking marijuana, and misdemeanor traffic violation. Big deal. He's a football player, not a saint, but that doesn't change the fact that by all accounts (including his own) he loves being a New England Patriot and has developed a great chemistry with Tom Brady.
