Default Congrats Patriots fans!

Chargers fan here, i know this is late but i just now got validated to post here. just wanted to give you guys props on a very impressive win despite the "videogate" distraction.

good luck going undefeated this season (it honestly would not surprise me) and hopefully my bolts can rebound from this tough loss and we will see you again in the playoffs.

Thanks for the props. The biggest hurdle your team has to overcome is the Turdner Affect. I kept telling Charger fans on my home planet how much of an adverse affect he had on teams he coached. Through 2 games it's just more of the same.

Hey, baphamet..Sam Adams here. Thanks for your nice words.

I'll be back on your board 9/28. In the meantime give my regards to everyone. I hope TJ21 and OC Charger didn't do anything harmful to their significant others or their small animals after that game.

Yeah, here too (LongTime over there). That was a butt kicking, and your team played outstanding.

I think we all know the Bolts are better than they showed the other night, though, and if there's a rematch, it should be a much better game.

But Zod's warnings from his home planet about the Turner effect have me concerned. . .

No question, SD should be much better than they looked in Foxboro, and probably will be soon. But aside from the coaching tumult, the thing I would worry about would be this:

That roster is packed with talent. At least 4 players (Tomlinson, Gates, Williams, Merriman) are All-Pro caliber, and another half dozen are outstanding. But...do you count your QB on that list? Given the relative strength of your RB/TEs vs your WRs, a lot of teams are going to dare Rivers to beat them. Is he up to the challenge?

Thanks baphamet...Chargeroo said I was trolling and causing trouble.

I think there were a few troll types who might have complained. I had some fun, and I always tried to be respectful, but some of the stuff they were sending our way last Thursday and Friday was pretty nasty.

At any rate, whatever satisfaction we got came Sunday evening. You should have seen the Fox Sports Grill at the Irvine Spectrum Center. It was all Chargers and Patriots game jerseys. Your boys were pretty boisterous, loud, and actually pretty foul-mouthed, and several of us had our wives with us. It wasn't too cool, but they were all quite young, so they thought muck-mouth was OK. That's OK....about two minutes into that game they went deadly silent, and I think most of them had left the building by the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Baphamet, I don't have any knowledge of the Bolts boards, but I do know this:

Everything has something to do with the Templars.

I liked Rivers coming out of college, not sure how he will turn out long term, but if he does not throw a couple of picks the Bolts are at least in the game.
