Default On Sunday..after the 4th touchdown..

Did anybody notice camera panning to show: BB talking something Josh McD;
What do you think BB was saying to Josh?

I think it is to the tune of: Lets not open out playbook much once we have a 'win' in our pocket. Lets play conservative, when we already know the outcome of the game.

Or

Am I gone bonkers????

I think he was saying, "I have an itch in my crotch and I can't scratch it because cameras are on me all game so people can try to guess what I am saying to you."

I was wondering that too, right after Moss had his second touchdown, they panned over and they were having a serious discussion it looked like.

I'm sure they didn't open the playbook. Once they got up that far, they shut it down. They really haven't done anything fancy yet. I'm sure they had more on the plate that they didn't use.

I've been on teams where we've done the same thing. Let's say you have a big game in the near future, you often start practicing new plays that you don't intend on using unless your back is against the wall for the current game. Sometimes, those plays turn out to be a primer for a dramatic shift in strategy for a game. Sometimes you think they're just change of pace plays until the week that you really want to use them is upon you. By that time, you've already got a feel for it.

I'm sure the Pats have brought out some looks to teams with the intention of showing the other team's scouts various looks that they need to prepare for without showing them some of the ways they can really use them.

I would not be surprised if the run game were emphasized this week just to get it rolling.

Was wondering about that myself. Your theory certainly makes sense... it was funny to see the HC and OC not even cracking a smile while the rest of the stadium and team went bonkers.

I saw that too, it looked like Belichick wasn't happy about something. Maybe he wanted Josh to keep at the ground game and not rattle off such a quick score.

Isnt it nice to be a sentence with "After our 4th TD" and even nicer to do it when we are still in the 3rd quarter?!!
