Default Maybe Hines Ward should worry about other things besides cheating [merged]

Karma's a *****, Hines:

Quote:
A business associate of Hines Ward has accused the Steelers receiver and another associate, who together own a South Side bar, of removing money from the business and insurance fraud.

Ward owns the Locker Room Bar & Grille, which opened in December 2005 on East Carson Street, along with Kimberly Pitts and Nicholas Lettieri.

Court documents reveal an ugly legal battle over the bar's bank accounts, accounting books and insurance claims between the owners.

Specifically, Lettieri leveled accusations in court documents that Pitts, her husband, Korry Pitts, and Ward failed to deposit cash receipts into the company accounts and have diverted the funds to their own personal bank accounts. Lettieri states that despite profits of more than $1 million and insurance money of $500,000, the company's bank accounts totaled less than $19,000 as of last week.

He also claims that Pitts, her husband, and Ward created false invoices to defraud the business of insurance proceeds of $300,000.
Did he really need the money that bad?

Just like McNabb, Hines Ward is a guy that i used to like, in a league full of jerkoffs, and then i end up hating him. Unfortunately there are very few "good people" in this league.

The funniest thing was when Hines Ward was interviewed about the "cheating" and was whining about how the pats knew everything that he was doing.
Well Hines, it doesn't have a godman thing to do with your offense, if they "cheated" it would have only affected The Steelers Defense.

Good job admitting that you were completely out-coached, you dumb bastard.

Can I giggle now

Wait til they get a hold of this in the Reichstag, Der Führer Goodell will explode.

If there is anything to this, it's 8 games minimum. Not the bilking of an associate (that happens all the time an is more of a civil thing). However, Insurance fraud to the tune of $300'000. Felony baby.

WOW,

If the accusations are correct (and I am taking them with a big grain of salt) I'm thinking he could possibly go to jail.

EDIT: Athletes don't tend to go to jail for these sort of things.

Just the rest of us

Absolutely NOT!

We should all be happy that the football Gods are blessing our very own and forgiving them for their mistakes.

Witness the slew of "bad luck" on thine enemies since they slandered our poor Billy:

1. Jets:

Comes Around: Mangina narcs out Belichick to the league

Goes Around: Pennington & Miller Injured; Maninga accused of cheating by a member of the REAL NFL fraternity; Mangina slammed by at least one member of the New York press for being the sniveling little b i t c h that he is.

2. Eagles:

Comes Around: McNabb publicly wonders if the Iggles will "get their rings" now that the Pats have been found out to be cheaters.

Goes Around: McNabb sticks his foot up his own a s s AGAIN with regard to his obsession about the inequities of treatment that he recieves because he is black. Dude, they don't criticise because you're black. They criticize you because you SUCK!

3. Steelers:

Comes Around: Hines Ward cries and claims he is squeaky clean

Goes Around: Hines Ward thinks he is Tony Soprano, skimming cash off the top at his bar to the point where his OWN partner turns him in!

4. Bills:

Comes Around: Dick Jauron runs his mouth about how he would never do what Belichick did

Goes Around: Minus one tight end AND an a s s whipping looming on the horizon for this Sunday

5. Chargers:

Comes Around: "If the Patriots ain't cheating, they ain't trying (snicker, snicker)" and "It doesn't surprise me (the Pats got caught cheating)" - LaDanian Tomlinson before Sunday's game @ New England

Goes Around: "I feel like I've had a red hot poker stuck up my a s s!" - LaDanian Tomlinson to Philip "Wynah" Rivers immediately AFTER Sunday's game @ New England

And there will be more. Trust me. The Gods will prevail and so will the men in Red, White, Silver and Blue.

This whole video scandal has exposed a lot about fans and what they really care about. This won't even be acknowledged in 2 days....well maybe by the cops or the judge but that doesn't matter, right? Only in America can a guy drive drunk and come off looking better than a guy using a video camera. We do wear our hearts on our sleeves don't we?
