Well this article says according to their sources BB might be suspended for 2-3 games and their sources claim the Patriots are very likely going to lose a first day pick, maybe even a first rounder. The important part of the article is this though...

So in other words this is all still speculation....doesn't sound good at all though.

Also this part might be at least somewhat useful....although I never thought they'd have to give the win back anyways.

This is as several have said for days. The Commissioner quickly had all he needed to determine guilt. The question was penalty. It seems that the team penalty has been decided (although there are varying estimates).

The open question, the one that has delayed a decision, SEEMS TO BE what did Belichick know and when did he know it?

I still don't think this punishment is for one event.

I can't believe their really thinking about suspending for 2-3 games...If the commish is seriously thinking about that than he's most likely going to get at least a one game suspension. This entire thing is a lot of BS if you ask me, and frankly this has taken a tole on my feelings for the Commish, the league, and those pushing for such a penalty. I might even take a break from the NFL if this really goes through.

If the end result of this is a 500,000.00 fine, a first and third round draft pick and a two to three game suspension with loss of wages for those two to three weeks, all I can say is there has to be something more going on here than just recording signs at the Jets game.

If there is nothing else going on, the punishment far, far exceeds the crime and the team will either rally around this and have a monster season, or things will go up in flames and the season will go down the toilet........................

I agree. He was warned and he felt that he was above the rules.

The damage is huge.

Yet again today Belichick, when asked about the fans in all of this, said nothing. Perhaps this is the league taking him down a notch. I think he may need it.

whatever the punishment it is! they will get on and play...and i will be watching them just like before...and they will be winning again...and the refs will be making calls like in denver and indy...and polian willlbe thinking of new rules to stop the pats.

No damage is unrepairable. The glaciers scoured every bit of soil off of the Foxboro area and covered it in a mile-think sheet of ice. And look at it now: Patriot Place!

If Foxboro can recover from the glaciers, it can recover from BB being fined and losing a draft pick or two.
