We are not nearly as strong in run D (comparatively) in sub packages as in the base.
Another point which Wilfork brought up.

Make no mistake. Fatty Ryan underlined the Pats weakness. Other teams will be rubbing their hands in glee. OTOH... I'm pretty sure that the coaching staff will have reviewed the tape and address the problems....

Its something most of us have known for a long time.

Cant solely blame Nincompoop for the "breaker".

And LT ran out the clock for god sake. How did that happen.

I dont think the run D was a glaring weakness. Outside of 3 plays (2 against a sub pass D, and one on a blown tackle by ninko, which account for 40% of their yards) we played the run reasonably well.
Teams running on our nickel package is low among my concerns.

Why do you believe that the coaching staff will be able to address the problems? As andy said, this is nothing new and was expected and predicted by andy before the game started.

Perhaps 10 games of maturity might help the run defense, perhaps not.

Well the run D should get plenty of practice next Sunday. I hope they increase Cunningham's workload this week. I can't think of a better time to get him large chunks of game action. I hope he is at point where the coaches feel comfortable starting him against the Ravens after the bye.

Come to think of it they will be stopping the run for the next two weeks.

He had LT dead to rights, but let him get away. I like nincompoop, but that was on him.

10 games? Sure hope not.

The front 3 held up better than I expected. The ILBs looked pretty stout too, but IMHO didnt create so much pressure on the inside, nor did they blitz as often as I'd liked. But its wrong to solely blame the OLBs for the blown plays.

Nope. But its about the only thing Buffalo can do...not saying they do it well, but it is less likely to lead to bad things.

True dat.

But IAH.... had Buffalo a decent O line instead of the gauntlet they call a pocket, they wouldnt be so bad. The two 1-2WRs they have are above average in terms of talent. The TEs they have do a job. They wont win a game, but they wont lose a game either.

Anyways.... here's to papering over the cracks !!!
