Hmm.
I was certain he had 70 yards that game.

oh well.

But if you are honestly satisfied with Norvie's job so far, I won't beat my head against a wall.

how was bb after his first game?

you're a pats fan saying we should be dissatisfied with norv after the 1st game in which we won by 11, over the defending nfc champs, a team you guys only beat 17-13 in NE last year, now how retarded does that sound ? honestly....

i got a feeling if norv beats bb sunday some of you may just try and kill yourselves , don't do it.

Tell me that Pats team was as talented as this Charger team is. I dare you.

I think we'd be able to handle a loss. The REAL question is:If you Fizzle Fans lose AGAIN, will the ******ing finally come to an end?

1. The Chargers' vaunted front 7 got VERY little pressure on Rex-yeah, they got a few sacks, but Rex had all day to throw for the most part, and this is against the oldest OL in football. IF Berrian hadn't run that bad route at the end of the half, it would have been 10-0. And on top of that, if it weren't for 2 bone-headed fumbles by their RBs, this game would have been a blowout Bears. Anyhow-from what I saw with the defensive schemes, the playcalling from Cottrell was FAR different from Phillips' last year, and Norv did nothing.

2. As a HC, Norv would consistently FAIL to find mismatches et al on O-he did it alot in Washington, he UNDER-utilized Randy Moss late in games in Oakland, and I noticed he did alot of that yesterday. Adam Archeleda(sp) sucks in coverage, but he was paired with Antonio Gates ALOT-however, I was shocked to see how few times Norv tried to exploit this. There were other times where they looked flat on O not nec b/c of the Chicago D, but his failure to make in-game adjustments et al.(i.e. when Chicago putting that 8th man in the box, didn't have play action passes et al)

The pt being here is that Norv's inability to be a good HC who makes good in-game management decisions et al is only going to weigh this team down.
That was a hard fought game against a Super Bowl finalist. They have a pretty serious defense. As for the Chargers defense - the Bears scored 3 points.

The Chargers werent playing the Jets.

Like AJ Smith said when he hired Norv, he was aware of his past record but he wasnt coaching the Chargers then.

Just like Kraft didnt seem to care that Belichek's record sucked when he coached the Browns.

Funny how coaches have good records when they have good players.

Well last year, the Super Bowl finalist played the Jets, and scored 10 points. 3 was from a surprise onsides-kick to start the second half, setting them up in great field position. 7 were from a Chad Pennington INT in the end-zone returned to the opposing red-zone.
Looked like two evenly matched teams all game.
But if you're honestly gonna say Grossman is better than Chad, don't.
Just don't.
So was the Bears defense pushed around all day, or did the Jets have good offense?
Did the bears have a bad day offensively, or was the Jets D that good?

If you're gonna reply to something from 4 pages ago, you might as well have looked up the part where I said BB turned the Pats around.
Norvie left the Redskins and Raiders in worse condition than when he started.
Make a little effort, M'kay.

At least we won't see you twits ever again after next Sunday.
Uhhh..in the last two games these teams have played the Chargers thumped the Patriots in your house and you won a close playoff game that your coach and QB admitted you were lucky to win. Brady had thrown the losing interception only to see it fumbled back. Like that happens often.

When Norv Turner took over in Washinton,he inherited a pretty good team if I remember, and did nothing with it. AJ Smith should have given the job to Philips. That whole issue was butcherd in SD last year.
