1st off, I don't really care who the media consensus says is the better QB. When I watch the Patriots play the Colts I'm not rooting for Brady to look better than Manning. I am rooting for the Patriots to beat the Colts and don't care if the Patriots do it with all ST and D points. IMO, the media consensus is based on 'what have you done for me lately'. Lately the Colts have beaten the Patriots, won the last Super Bowl and Manning looked good Thursday night. And Brady hasn't done a thing since last January -

By all means, I first used it in 2003.

He keeps on saying Manning is better than to prove it he says this:

"Although they are even in most quarterbacking categories, Manning creates separation as a pure passer. Manning also has had multiple years to develop his virtually perfect synchronization with his best receivers. On the other hand, Brady has had an offseason and preseason to get familiar with Stallworth, Welker, and (to some extent) Moss."

Wow this guy is an idiot! That only proves that Brady would be just as good if not better if he had worked with Hall of Fame recievers for the last 5 years. This guy is an idiot!

+1. Fact of the matter is that to be good, Manning needs to have three great, consistent receivers as his security blanket. On the other hand, Brady is good with a bunch of third stringers.

Obviously, it's not fully updated, but it should be enough to make the point. Blaming the defense of the Colts is simply inaccurate.
Through 2005, Brady was a better QB for the reasons cited in that article. Its true that the Colts defense was not horrible in the playoffs, but at some point you have to credit the defense and coaching staff Manning is facing.

Its 2007. In last year's AFC championship, Manning disected the Patriots defense, overcoming an enormous half-time deficet. That is a cold hard fact.

Brady is a better leader/field general, and Peyton is a better PASSER.

but there have been guys all over this league who were great passers, exp. Jeff George. It doesn't mean he's a better QB then every one else.

I would take Brady over Manning, if your starting a new team from scratch and you could take one of theese guys from the beggining of their careers. I would go with Brady by a slight edge. he's a born leader, who brings a certain calmness to every one around him.

I can't get that scene out of my head when a few years ago Reggie Wayne was screaming and yelling at manning on the sideline, and pushing him like he was a punk, I don't know if Wayne is that crazy or Manning just didn't or doesn't get the respect that Brady does.

But I couldn't see that happening to Brady.

That's not what I said. Please stop lying just because you have no other way of winning a point.

There's a huge difference.
Thank you, Ed, for being the exception to the newbie rule. Thank you for READING. Some of our vet posters here have a tough time with truth-telling when their ego gets in the way.

How many games does Manning have to gas-pipe before you stop looking for excuses. first it's the defense, then it's the opponent. The opponent is precisely what Manning is supposed to be overcoming.

The defense he "disected" was filled with 2nd and 3rd string players due to illness/injury. There were also multiple 'questionable' calls (Think pass interference) that went in Indianapolis' favor. That, too, is a cold hard fact.

Now THAT is a point, and a rebuttal that I can get behind. Thanks for making that clear. It is definitely silly if the guy changed his mind after ONE game - especially THAT game. Peyton was great, just like he's been LOTS of times, including that last time we played head-to-head.
