Brady's the 1b to Manning's 1a, but I think Manning's the better QB as well. Still, let's wait for their enshrinement ceremonies before we see their legacies (Brady could go crazy and win 4 more Super Bowls and 4 NFL MVPs, Manning could tear every ligament in his throwing shoulder this week in practice).

I think the ridiculous was in reference to one game changing Carucci's mind. Afterall, they've been in the league for 15+ years combined. One game, the first game of the season mind you, shouldn't change much. I think Manning is phenomenal, but I'd like to see Brady have a Harrison and Wayne to throw to for 8-10 years. Hopefully this year he'll have something like that.

Who would you take, Marino or Montana?

Probably Marino

Where would Montana be without Walsh?

The Marino comparisons are moot. Manning won a Super Bowl, Marino never did.

The big difference between Brady and Manning is Manning has had stability at WR. Brady has won 3 Super Bowls with far less talent and hardly ever the same pass catchers around. He started to develope that with Branch as Branch totaled close to 21 catches in only TWO Super Bowl appearances. Now imagine Tom Brady still playing with Givens and Branch at wideout going into last seasons AFCCG. It would have been Super Bowl win #4 easily in my opinion.
They need to stop screwing the guy over and give him steady WR's to work with. The way it's going now Tom will have different WR's AGAIN next season. I'd be pissed off if I were him. Mostly all those deals are for one freakin year.

THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE so don't expect huge fireworks from Brady because it will take time to get to know Stallworth, Moss and Welker. Manning has had that luxury for seasons now with Wayne and Harrison.

Making the Pro Bowl for the Chiefs in his second to last season after guiding his team to an 11-5 record and getting his new team to the AFC Championship game in his first season as the team's quarterback.

This is like comparing Terry Bradshaw to Dan Marino....Dan was the better quarterback "statistically" but Terry had the Rings. I'ld rather have the rings!!!!

but if you put thoose QB's with rings with other teams to start their career, you can't guarentee they would have as many rings or any rings at all

It bugs me when people use Super Bowls as the measuring stick for a QB. Football is a team sport. Its not golf. Yes Manning has had better receivers than Brady, but until last year's play-offs, the Colts have had absolutely no defense, were consistently out-coached by the Patriots, and it was entirely incumbent upon Manning and the offense to carry the team. The Patriot's Super Bowls were won with execution on offense, defense, special teams and coaching. Yes Brady was a huge contributor to these Super Bowl victories, arguably event the biggest, but that doesn't make him a better QB than Peyton Manning.
