The Contra Costa Times out here says the Raiders cut one of thier 2 - 3rd round selections and the Cards picked him up. Quentin Moses. It even has a quote from Lane Kiffin saying he expects Moses to be a fine player in the league.

If you're as bad as Arizona and Oakland and you cut your third round pick, you made a mistake somewhere.

This really was a poor draft. Two third round picks cut! Of course, we don't exactly have a great history with third round picks.

IDC if this story was refuted. The Oakland Raiders are stiil and will be in the longest rebuilding phrase quite possibly in the history of the NFL.

The game has passed Al Davis by, that's all. He WAS a great, hands-on football guy once upon a time ago, but times are different.
