I liked what I saw from Wesley in the preseason. He wasn't lightning quick, but he could have been a decent fill-in here if nobody picked him up.

At leat he doesn't cost the Pats a draft pick now. He had to be on the roster for that to happen.

Too bad.

I thought Wesley played better in the preseason games than Tory. I had hoped he would be around for CB depth and special teams.

It looked to me that Wesley got lucky in the Giants game to have avoided several PI calls, with one being in the end zone. He never looked back and made contact before the ball arrived. I was cringing about having him on the field in the regular season. It will be called in the regular season.
