I think the combination of Sanders and Meriweather will be enough to offest the loss for 4 weeks.
But as always in BB we trust!

I'm not sure Meriweather is ready to start just yet. He seemed to struggle a bit in coverage on Friday. Nothing that isn't correctable over time, but I donj't know if he is ready. I would expect Andrews or Gay to start at the beginning of the season if Wilson isn't ready to go.

Wilson kind of limped off the field during the Carolina game and hasn't been seen since.

He seemed to pull up lame in the Carolina game on the long touchdown. Not positive, but I'm pretty sure he has missed practice since then.

We torched Manuel last year when we played the Pack. I'd be shocked if we traded for a journeyman SS.

You take out Harrison and Wilson and your solid secondary just got very weak...

We don't know what is going on with Wilson. We know that Harrison should be back for week 5. Sanders is capable, but Meriweather is a big question mark. So would putting either Andrews or Gay back there. They've never lined up with Sanders like that... Well, Andrews might have...

Anyways, that's a lot of inexperience you'd be relying upon for a pretty critical part of the defense.

Most of the reports have indicated that Wilson's injury doesn't seem to be too major. Maybe it is speculating or some inside information. I think him not practicing last week is not a good indicator to determine whether he will be out the opening game since he would have been held out for precautionary measures for a hang nail since none of the starters played on Thursday.
