Default Check this out...watch your own NFL TV in-stadium

This seems to be a new thing (at least I haven't heard of it before now) and I gotta say it is wicked cool looking. I can't find any info to see if the Patriots have a similar offer, so I have to link to the dolphins webpage. But basically it's like having NFL Sunday Ticket in the palm of your hand.

Anyone hear anything about this...? Pretty damn impressive, says I. I wonder if it will work out in the parking lot...

No wonder the Dolphins sell those. Who the hell would want to go to Dolphin Stadium and actually watch the game they bought tickets for? Sheesh, why not bring a $100 TV and watch some other game. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense...

I think that is great too. With all the dead time between quarters, injury time-outs, play under review, in line for the John or at the concessions there's plenty of opportunity to check on the scores of other games. On top of that there are plenty of games that are essentially "over" by the end of the 3rd quarter. Plus people playing fantasy or betting always want to know what's going on around the league.

May not be for everyone but I don't think it deserves to be bashed.

I don't blame Phins management. They can't sell out the stadium so they're desperate for revenue.

Amen.... not that I gamble or anything like that...

I think that thing is sweet... and while people have used this opportunity to bash Miami, which is perfectly fine by me, I do know that there are a few other teams doing the same thing. And I would totally love to be able to watch a game in the parking lot either before or after the Pats game...

EDIT: A quick google check shows you can also do this in Washington, Seattle and Houston. So if the thing sells well there, I am sure it own't be long before we see it here.

I see a huge cash potential for this (for the nfl teams)...imagine setting up a parking lot outside the stadium, and allowing tailgating, etc, and renting those to ppl that don't have tickets......

I went to a Formula 1 race last year and they had these for rent. They're great especially for events like F1 when you can't see the whole race track from any one vantage point.
