The important thing about the article is the battle for roster spots.

Young LBs, Kareem Brown, safeties who play special teams, receivers, TEs. There are some real tough battles and good players are going to be cut.

No, she wrote "expect the New England Patriots’ regulars to be well-paid cheerleaders," which is a bit of speculation that any of us could make. Your title says that she wrote "will be cheerleaders," which implies that she has some actual knowledge. If the starters play for a series now you are making her incorrect, when all she'd really be is surprised. Please be careful not to misrepresent the statements of our rookie poster!
