Default OT: DMX house raided...fighting dogs found?

Could this be tied to the Vick case and this be just the 1st of many that get taken down because of Vick or his associates?

Detectives visited the home and then called one of the rapper's lawyers and told him that the conditions for the animals at the property needed to be improved or deputies would take action, Arpaio said. The dogs were not being fed or given water.

It has you thinking for sure if Vick had anything to do with this... He's agreed to be cooperative... Who knows?

Not yet, anyways. But it can very easily turn into one if Vick was the source of the tip.

Kind of a "Good Faith" gesture on his part to get a decent deal from the prosecutor.

But it bears watching because of what is going on with Vick. Especially since he is supposedly going to NARC on others in the dog fighting world.

If you've ever listened to his songs, it'd be pretty obvious to anyone that DMX was involved with dogs; involvement with dogfighting would be a logical conclusion.

The report tonight on the Dallas News was that the incidents are not related... However, they also said that the investigation was ongoing.

They seized 12 dogs and found 3 dead bodies of dogs. One of the dead had been burned.

Recently a caretaker at the home of actor Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction) was either killed by pit bulls or eaten by pit bulls after he had suffered a heart attack.

No one has been arrested and I don't think anyone is filing charges, I'm just pointing out that there's been a lot of pit bull stories around lately.

I recall hearing a while ago that that sheriff wanted to talk to Vick about dog fighting in Phoenix. Also heard at the time he was something of an attention grabber. I doubt Vick had anything to do with this particular bust. More likely the sheriff felt the timing was right on the heels of Vick's plea. But there will likely be more busts related to this case. One of the breeding kennels named in frick and frack's statement of facts last week still had it's web site up last week with pictures of celebrity clients... One was a Bear and a couple of others were rappers I've never heard of (which isn't saying much...)...

Of course the real trick is not just giving the Feds names they can't really use, but incriminating evidence/testimony or tips on where and when to look. That will be tough because I imagine most of these guys, at least the other high rollers and hardcore kingpins, started covering their tracks months ago anticipating Vick might well turtle on anyone he could. Of course a lot of the fringe or hobby fighters are dumb ****s like DMX and #7 so there could yet be good evidence to be had just left lying around...

There were dog bites but the autopsy concluded his death could not have been caused by the dogs.

Since he was the dogs' caretaker the bites may have resulted from the dogs trying to rouse the man. He wasn't eaten by the dogs, where did you hear that?

Right, because he's a Black rapper...

Oh my God. They were not pit bulls, they were mastiffs. I know people think pit bulls were sent by Satan to eat small children, but believe it or not, it's not true. Oh, and the dogs didn't kill the guy. A brain aneurysm did. Eaten by dogs. What type of ridiculous hyperbole is that? A ten second Google news search gave me the information I got. You could at least do that before blatantly misleading people.
