Bengals lose 2nd Rd. pick Irons for year

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Friday, Aug. 10, that RB Kenny Irons (knee) suffered a season-ending left knee injury during the team's preseason opener Thursday, Aug. 9, according to head coach Marvin Lewis. Lewis said the diagnosis was a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Irons is expected to be ready to participate in offseason activities next year.

I just heard yesterday that they were very excited about him, he was a beast in college, tough break. On the bright side, this will give him much more free time to work on his "rap" sheet.
