Making a trade for Haynesworth thread should be a bannable offense.

No, he's in the hospital because he ate the bit. (This never gets old!)

-Haynesworth is the biggest trash in the NFL. This isn't the same Patriots' locker room, and Haynesworth could care less about winning.
-Washington's asking price is too high.
-He doesn't fit into our system, and he's whining about the 3-4 as it is. We'd have to restructure our entire defense for one huge problem child.

Yes, but only if Brady and Mankins are locked up. It would play really badly in the locker room if a total a-hole like Haynesworth comes in while quality Patriots like Brady and Mankins are fighting for every nickel.

Think of it this way, is Haynesworth better than Brace, Pryor, Deaderick or Love? Yes. It all likelyhood he is a hell of a lot better than the starters Wright & Warren.

It would be nice if tha Patriots had one disruptive player on defense.

The argument will run something like this:

-Most of the guaranteed money has already been paid on his contract, so he'll only be making 5-6M per year for the next two seasons

-We could change our entire defense to a 4-3 and have an absolute mashing machine in the middle with Wilfork and Haynesworth.

-The Patriots can turn around a disgruntled veteran like this, ala Corey Dillon and Randy Moss.

I'll even shoot down the arguments in advance, in anticipation of the later threads.

-No (10 characters).

Did I miss anything?
Yes! Chuck Norris would be very unhappy with that trade.

How could anyone be upset if the Pats traded for Haynesworth? Our defensive line is poor and needs improvment and depth. What does Haynesworth add? Improvement and depth. Maybe he doesn't fit into our system perfectly but he can be fitted in.

The Cheese Monkeys was a great book. Especially for a graphic designer.
