Was Vick the only Falcon who knew about these goings on?
I know we have heard just about enough of the Vick situation online and everywhere in the sports media world but the question that I have not seen asked anywhere or investigated was is Vick the ONLY Falcon who knew the goings on in Virginia?
Come on now,Vick is the highest publicized figure in that locker room and probably was buddy buddy with just about every Falcon player and no one other than Michael knew about this in the past 5 years? BS!
You can't tell me Mora Jr. had no idea,Alge Crumpler and Lawyer Milloy ect:?
Was this a conspiracy to hold back info just to protect the team from being in the situation it has now become which is a disaster?
I think some of those players who have been on that team for the past several years like Crumpler and Milloy most certainly had some kind of knowledge of what Vick was doing,I am sure Michael hung around with these guys and probably invited 1 or 2 guys up to Va. to check out the fights during the past few offseasons,Michael does not appear to be a total recluse.
Should fellow players speak out and made at least anonymous calls to the FBI if they know what was going on for years in Vick's Virginia home?
I think fellow players who knew about this are just as at fault for letting this go on.
IMO There is no way on gods green earth that no one outside of Vick and his dog fighting crew knew nothing about these fights...surely some Falcon players did which we may never know how many Falcon players and coaches knew all along but held crucial info for what they thought was best for the team.

I hate to burst your bubble, but this goes waaaaaay beyond the Falcons. While there may not be another NFL player quite as deeply and personally involved in his own operation of a dogfighting ring, there are many who attend and wager on fights and likely own if not raise, train and fight dogs of their own.

And Vick may be perfectly happy to name names if it keeps him out of jail. This could get VERY ugly.

Of course I know this but the question was not about other people in the dogfighting business,It is about OTHER MEMBERS OF THE ATLANTA FALCONS ORGANIZATION WHO MAY HAVE KNOWN OF VICKS SIDE BUSINESS.

Well then isn't every player who knows about the longstanding subculture of dog fighting on the hook for not dropping a dime on the guys he knew about who were attending fights and betting on fights and acquiring his own dogs to fight? What you don't understand is this has been an excepted subculture within the NFL for years. Guys know who does drugs or routinely drives drunk or mixes it up with his old lady or is on the juice. But there is also an institutional team mentality that teamates leave stuff they hear about in the locker room in the locker room. Whistle blowers or snitches can end up with the worse end of the deal for their efforts. It's not pretty, but it's reality.
Re: Was Vick the only Falcon who knew about these goings on?
I don't know if it would be fair to call out some 3rd string D-lineman who may have attended one event and been disgusted by it, but kept his mouth shut. Speaking up would put this theoretical person at odds with the superstar QB and make it likely that he'd end up as road-kill career-wise. However, anyone with any significant involvement should pay, not just Vick.
Re: Was Vick the only Falcon who knew about these goings on?
I agree, no one is going to drop the dime on the start quarterback. You don't want to lose him for any amount of time. If the team is winning it means more money for you when you become a free agent. So I can't fault any of them for not turning him in.
At the same time, I really hope they throw the book at him. It goes beyond inhumane to take part in having two of god's animals fight each other to the death for personal enjoyment. I get upset just thinking about it. I have 3 dogs at home all of which I rescued from my local shelter and they are great pets. I think of people taking such loving animals and making one of them aggresive and it really pisses me off. How many children need to be attacked. Michael Vick should be made an example out of. I really hope and pray that he names names.
Re: Was Vick the only Falcon who knew about these goings on?
Why are we bringing Milloy into this? He was only with the team for one year. Crumpler, Dunn, Brooking, Hall and Kerney, just to namea few, have been playing with Vick for much longer.
That aside, Vick does not strike me as the type of player who was buddy buddy with his mates. He's hardly a leader, and seems like the type who has his own personal entorage, more like a Pacman Jones or a Jarry Johnson than a Tom Brady or a Peyton Manning.

Couple of fingers may be more appropriate, the other testicle can still think up some pretty bad stuff.
Going back to the real issue, I am pretty sure NFL security has a pretty good bead on this and thus their hesitancy as a bunch of dominos are gonna fall. If they suspend Vick, then he might just spill the beans.. and mess up their investigation. It seems from what I read is they hope he will take some kind of leave of absence to prepare for this legal mess.
