Does any one know, when they usually announce the rest of the training camp dates for the beginning of august - the end?

usually it's 2 one day and one the next...but it is all subject to change...if BB thinks the team is doing OK..some time weekends are without a practice...that is why you really will not see a schedule all that far ahead of time..and if weather is bad that changes things..very little set in stone.

Is it me or is camp starting much later this year?

Maybe its just my need for the season to start..

I think this is about the same time as normal. Remember the season opens on 9/9, which is about as late a date as you will find.

As a point of reference, I got married last July 22nd and camp opened the following week.

It has been the last Friday in July the past two seasons (7/29/2005 and 7/28/2006).

The Thursday game is on 9/6, but the Sunday is on 9/9, which is actually early.

Just think if the Pats were going to China it would be ONLY 12 days to camp......
