1) * Talked about Randy Moss. He said he feels like a rookie, said Moss and Brady are communicating on sideline..before play..after play basically to get it going. Brady would tell Moss stuff like.."i want u to run that route this way"..Brady would sometimes say "okay i need to throw it up there instead of down" and so on. . Also talked about..you dont see huge separation from Moss..once he gets 15 yards you see him separate.(little early to tell but its mini camp..not sure how fast everyone is going)

2)*Talked about Samuel: 1 of them talked to Samuel on phone and said "Samuel sounded like he was digging himself..hes not just making stuff up that his agent is trying to get him to say. It's Samuel thats dissapointed..all legit. Thought that Samuel would come back by start of season because he would say to himself..can he really leave over 7 mill on table and sit out for 10 games?

3) Talked about Thomas: Where he'll play..hes the key chess piece..how they are lining him up inside but they see him going all over. His natural position is outside but he can certainly move around. They thing that Colvin-Vrabel will be outside to start but before the snap, maybe slide into Vrabel's outside spot.

4) Talked about Bruschi: Bruschi is healthy..feeling great. They question how they might preserve Bruschi at age of 34..think Bruschi and Seau together make 1 very good player. Said Bruschi and Seau might alternate during series..1 may play 3rd down, other may not

5.) Talked about Harrison: Talked about his role..hes the leader and you see it during practice(lining people up, attitude). Think Meriweather might start next to Harrison if Samuel holds out with Wilson going to corner.

6) Talked about Meriweather: His injury said its early and missing minicamp but that hes still got a lot of time to make up the ground.

7) Talked about Maroney/RBs: Positive to see him on the field, didnt take part in drills. The guys said when Morris was signed, they and others thought..eh nice signing..good backup but now they think Morris can be a good 1-2 punch . Think maybe 60-40 split possibly..more than anyone expects. Said the Patriots thought really highly of Morris and if the injury to Maroney is serious, they feel fine with Morris.(since they didnt draft 1).

8)Talked about offense: Brady is very excited about new guys..he felt good with the guys last year. We brought in proven vets and thats nice to have.

9) Month by Month:
Sept: Patriots win opener, great environment. good matchup(Brady-Pennington, BB-Mangina)

Chargers: not sold on Chargers with Norv Turner..tough opener verse both NY-SD

Think Buffalo lost a lot..think we'll win both games. Lost too much defensivly, not much of a threat.

Patriots in Sep: 3-0

October:
@ Cinci: will be a tough team, Bengals looking for revenge..if we lose 1, its to Bengals.

@ Miami: Miami is always tough with us..nice to see how we go agaisnt their D. Think we might lose 1 to Fins

6-2 at that point
@ Colts: think Colts are still favorites..dunno what our D can do yet. 2nd half Colts was dominant in Champ. Game.

Eagles: Questions at QB..think Patriots win.

November: 2-1

Baltimore: Loss because they are contenders and biggest game.

Steelers: Tomlin was D cord..and we dominated their defense(Tomlin's Vikings)

@Giants: interesting close out..we play some of our best game near end of season, building toward playoffs. Win

12-4 PREDICTION Loss to: Ravens, Bengals, Dolphins and ?[/B]

Biggest suprise at Mini Camp: WELKER. works hard, smooth routes, developing with Brady..stood out.

Go to guy for Brady: depend on situation.
Big play: RANDY MOSS in the redzone
Big play over middle: Moss-Stallworth
3rd down: Welker

Check out how big Kyle Brady is, this is a pic of Mike Reiss interviewing him, what a monster.

At the end of the conference call, Moss was asked about running a 4.29 40-yard dash in front of Bill Belichick.

“The Moss of old is back,” he said. “We’ll leave it at that.”

Reiss is a little guy, and Brady is 6-foot-6.
