Interesting, Colts will play those top five teams six times next season. Wonder how Manning will fare?

I guess I wouldn't list Colts any higher either. By default, you lose both starters, you have to put them at the bottom.

I am surprised after one very good year, Assante makes it to #5...

Samuel has been playing consistently well for a while now, though it wasn't until last year he really broke out.

Not sure if this is subjective or statistical ranking. And it is TSN. But remember he's being ranked as part of a supposedly top 4 unit on a defense that overall likely would rank in the top 2-3 and this is AFC ranking not NFL.

Asomugha may be physically talented, but last season was the 1st of his 4 year career in which he recorded an INT. He has never made a big play in a big game, because Oakland's never been in any. I would wait before elevating him to elite status. Give it time to breathe a little. Among Cbs on bad teams, Leigh Bodden is not as physically gifted, but has a longer track record.

They'll find out Randy can't run consistently anymore. He'll drive [Tom] Brady and [Bill] Belichick crazy. This is just my personal opinion from what I saw: He's losing his legs. He's becoming an old man fast.

Crap list. McAlister is a piece of junk, Nnamdi isn't better than Samuel yet either. Champ should be numbers 1 through 5, it's not even close.

Actually after a half a good year...anyone who says that his play in the first of the season was just as good is missing it...How many people would have franchised him after 8 games??

Ok, here is the NFC's list.

1. Nate Clements, 49ers
2. DeAngelo Hall, Falcons
3.Ronde Barber, Bucs
4. Lito Sheppard, Eagles
5.Antoine Winfield., Vikes

Where would Asante fit on the combined list?

Top NFC units;

1. 49ers
2. Cowboys
3.Eagles
4.Packers
5.Bucs

Also notice on the AFC list, Ty Law is no longer in the top 5.
