Pats, LB Chad Brown Agree To Terms
Holy Randy Moss, Old School is back in style. The Patriots and linebacker Chad Brown have agreed to terms, according to a league source.
The signing comes in the wake of a report by the San Diego Tribune's Jim Trotter that they have also come to terms with another vintage linebacker, Taiana 'Junior' Seau, in an attempt to shore up the linebacker corps.
For Brown, who'll turn 37 in July, it'll be his 16th NFL campaign. Brown was signed by the Patriots in 2005 as a free agent and was credited with 54 tackles in 15 games (5 starts). Brown was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1993 and played there until 1996 - he made an encore performance last year for the Black and Gold of the Iron City.
Brown's a three-time Pro Bowler ('96, '98 and '98) and will provide added cover at either the outside or inside linebacker spots. Brown's most recent endeavor was working full-time at his reptile business based in Littleton, Colorado. He's the owner of

I wonder if they mixed up Chad Brown with Chris Brown, since they've been interested in him? We'll see if this report is true.
