All other things being equal, I expect Laurinaitis to be the top-rated linebacker in next year's draft.

Nice list you've got there....

Ya gotta love Laurinaitis, the guy just dominates, and he did it as a sophomore. I like Dan Conner of Penn State as well, many claim he is a lot more talented than Poz.

As UConn season ticket holder, I'll give you something on Danny Lansanah.

Lansanah is a smart, veteran leader. He'll be a team captain this fall.

He's led the team in tackles each of the last two years. He had 4 int's, 99 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble as a junior.

He is the active leader in tackles at UConn.

Has played both outside (weak side) and inside. This spring he is listed as #1 on the depth chart at ILB. This will be his third year as a starter.

I expect a ton out of him this year, honestly, as the defense has developed some depth and looks to have more speed and playmakers than it ever has in the program's limited history.

He has been the team's best LB in coverage and can get to the qb. He doesn't look overmatched by the better teams in the league (WVU, Louisville, Rutgers).

He is 100% all the time.

Likely a late round pick next year.

Why Rey Maualuga was forgotten i have no idea.

Although he is a Junior i would probably rate him and Laurinaitis as the top LB prospects.

Xavier Adibi is undersized but very fast and a good pass rusher and is a play maker for VA Tech. If he could put on a few pounds he will be a prospect or maybe another move to safety.

Brian Toal, BC, tough MLB, used as short yardage goal line back. I've only seen him a couple times and has injury history. Living in VA I don't have a lot on him.

FYI, I just copied these guys from the "prospects" list at Great Blue North Draft Report. Thanks for supplementing.

Being a student down at GaTech, I gotta say the Wheeler kid has got a motor and pass rush skill like no one business. Easily the best defensive player on a team that constantly has one of the best defenses in college. The kid can fly and layout a hit, geez he's athletic. He almost considered coming out this year, and I'm glad he didn't because first thing, we need him, and second he wouldn't have gotten the appreciation he deserves. After another amazing year, he will really give his draft stock a kick in the ass.
