Having your forearm snapped when it gets caught in between someone's legs is not an "issue."

I'll give you bruschi though. He looked old, weak and slow all year.

Seau hasn't played more than 11 games since 2003
- 2003 - 15 Games
- 2004 - 8 Games
- 2005 - 7 Games
- 2006 - 11 Games

The Patriots were very lucky to have such a player signed during training camp produce at the level he did.

Bruschi has been playing out of position for most of the last two years. If he is lined up on the string side expect to seee him get blown up on a regular basis. He is too small to play that position.

In BB we trust but I still see a huge hole at ILB. Luckily the rest of the roster is very good so it may not even matter.

To me, he is a known name, but if the pats had interest in signing him, they would have tried.

Duly noted...they should sign him after the bye then.

Seau looked great last year as a starter. Given his forearm heals up, which it sould just fine, then he will make a great primary backup.

I don't know why people keep bringing Hartwell up, he's been available for some time, so if they thought he would work well in the Pat's system they would have made an effort to sign him.

Looks like another decent LB is leaving FA soon.

Maybe BB can take a nice trip to Atlanta today and stop at the hospital to celebrate the birth
Its official ,Ed Hartwell is a Bengal..Another LB now confirmed gone in FA

easy now--the whiny 'we will suck because we have terrible, old, slow linebackers' lynch mob will descend upon you

just cool down that view that Colvin, Vrabel and Bruschi had anything whatsoever to do with the 14-5 finish last year--they sucked then and with the replacement of Banta-Cain with Adalius Thomas will be even worse this year--we need bodies--every linebacker out there should be signed for god's sake!!!

O.K. Cousins, Lets get over Hartwell. I liked him here but you can't get them all.It just made sense.

Now the big question..........How about we bring in Al Wilson for a physical? Listened to a John Lynch interview the other night and he was miserable the Broncos cut Al. Lynch said Wilson wants to play and can still play, and he thinks to a high level.....Take that Shanny!!! Ouch John!

Scott P., we'll chip in and pay for the Doctors visit bill. Let's see what the man has left of a neck/shoulder/back or whatever caused the issue. I think the injury was "Rosterous Bonustitus" of the left wallet cheek, that the Broncos discovered.

Lynch said without reservation that Wilson can still play. I'll go with that over what some money hording FO says.
