Wow, Raiders just traded their #4 to Detroit for Mike Williams (and QB McCown). Do they get our #4 that we got from SF for Moss ? Interesting developements.

idk how much Packers want of him if he wont restructure...thats why his best chance is with us. i doubt Packers want the 9 mill per year deal on him. he said he wont restructure for anyone but Patriots

san francisco chronicle reported this morning that Pats and Raiders had a deal yesterday - Moss for a fourth and Moss' agent was ready to renegotiate his client's contract. According to the article Al Davis stepped in at the last minute and killed it because he felt like he was getting taken advantage of.

But now with Day 1 pretty much over and by Kiffin negotiating the deal he is basically saying he does not want to coach Moss. Combined with the Pats freeing up more money by not using the #28 pick and Mike Williams joining the Raiders I would think that a deal is in the works to bring Moss to New England

Give me a break! Have any of you guys learned anything from this week? All week were heard that the Pats were going to be a lock to take David Harris at #28 and that didn't happen. Also, Miami was a lock to draft Quinn if indeed he dropped to #9 and that didn't happen. Now you guys really beleive the deal is dead between the Pats and Raiders? Don't believe anything you hear or read until it happens or not. I agree that this time time the Raiders may get desperate and unload Moss for a 4th this year or next year. There is something going on with the Pats and we will find out tommorow. First, they trade their first round pick to the Niners for their #1 next year and a fourth rounder. Then they trade our 3rd round pick to the Raiders for their 3rd and 7th rounder next year. They are not drafting players either because 1. they don't like who's on the board or 2. they are making room for a Moss trade. In addition, the Raiders draft a reciever and trade for Mike Williams. Randy Moss has made it clear for the second time that he wants to play for the Pats and only the Pats. The Pats have plenty of day 2 picks to spare for Moss. I think the deal will be for real this time.

Yeah, we really made the senile old man look like an idiot with the Doug Gabriel trade.....oh....wait a minute. Davis is crazy like a fox. He'll get a 4th rounder from us and dump a huge contract. I'd love this trade though.
