in the same way that Maroney is the replacement for Dillon. he'll go from being a part time rookie to a full time 2nd year oplayer.

I dunno about that he had 142 tackles last year, and at least 100 in the past 3 years, I think that probably means he can tackle a little.

Addai got more carries than Rhodes..so how is he replacing Rhodes?

Hes replacing him as a full time starter maybe but not in a roster spot. Addai came there to replace James last year and they let Rhodes get some work in and not rush the rookie in.

The Colts having a bad salary cap situation, plus losing a few average players, plus them only having enough money to sign their draft picks, is all the same thing.

as I said above, this is the only significant loss for the Colts this offseason. all those other guys didn't contribute that much to their SB run, or are replaceable
It takes chemistry and team dynamics to win superbowls. It is not just based on talent. The loses the colts have suffered will effect them. Colts fans can deny it all they like. They peaked and now starts the decline. The defense is going to be lack luster next year. Im going to go on the proof over 16 games, which showed them to have some pretty serious issues before they lost a soul.

watch him play man..theres a reason hes not considered a top LB with all the picks and tackles. He misses a lot of tackles and gets run over a lot..like Beisel in many ways. The reason their run D blew most of season was because they couldn't tackle anyone..and June was probably 1 of the biggest targets against run

Is the apparent ambivalence to Cato June's leaving via FA from Colts fans a true indication of his level of play? Or just wishful thinking that he'll be easily replaced?

Either way, the overblown "Colts are done" talk is just that, overblown. But at the same time, anyone who thinks they will somehow be an improved team going into '07 season is probably smoking on something, too (Prisco).

And most importantly, the Patriots have improved dramatically and we haven't even hit the draft yet.

I disagree the Colts are "done"-it's only March and they still have the draft and probably some monies for an emergency pick-up. I'd also assume they have a plan. Miguel, what's your take on these cuts?
